Ten Pairs Of Riding Boots That Are So Cute, You'll Pretend ...

The most prominent shoe trend this fall/winter is the riding boot. In all its western glory, designers have churned out many iterations - in distressed leather, patent leather, suede, and even metallic! It's no wonder the riding boot is so popular- with a flat sole, it's also practical, not to mention easy to wear. A complete outfit is as easy as a comfy sweater and skinny jeans tucked into a pair of riding boots. My favorite is the Frye 'Paige' cuff riding boots, but for a totally different look, I also love Sam Edelman's 'Kailee' black patent riding boots. Check out our SLIDESHOW for plenty of riding boot options.

I don't know about you, but buying gifts for the guys in my life is always the most challenging part when shopping. Whether it's for my dad, boyfriend, or my best guy friend, they're all very hard to shop for! One way I've begun is by looking through the "gifts for him" gift guides at various Web sites like J. Crew and Pottery Barn. One trend I've found through my searches are personalized gifts! I know what you're thinking, but we've come a long way from engraved cuff links and tie tacks. For the grill master in your life, I've found a great grill tool set that can be engraved with his initials. For the man who has everything, get his fingerprint immortalized in this one of a kind framed print. For more personalized gift ideas for him, take a look at my slideshow!

Military Shirts, Because A Man In Uniform Always Looks Good...

The other day I was at H&M with my friend browsing the section of men's casual wear. When we met up at the cash register, he had picked up a gray military-style shirt and I, coincidentally, picked up the same exact shirt in green. I decided to let him buy it because I knew that there would be one day when we would both be wearing it and we would be constantly referred to as the Doublemint twins. That said, military-style shirts are a hot commodity right now. With finely tuned tailoring and shoulder-accentuating button details, I wonder why these weren't more in vogue back in the day. A myriad of designers have put their spin on the military shirt, giving us a variety to choose from. And remember €“ a man in uniform always looks good. Check out the SLIDESHOW for plenty of options.
