  jefdesigns Special Edition Screen Print- Fritillaria

  Joe Futschik, designer and owner of jefdesigns, has released a special edition silkscreen image in honor of his mother who died earlier this year from ovarian cancer. I feel like it is rare for a day to pass by without hearing about someone who has developed or is struggling with cancer. I am sure I could count a good handful or more of my own close friends or family who have fought the disease, and with each person I think it is utterly important to recognize and honor what they have gone through, a celebration in some form that immortalizes their character. Simply stated, I find Joe's tribute to his mother awe inspiring and beautiful. 50% of all sales of the jefdesigns Screen Printed Wood Art Panel- Fritillaria will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

  Laugh Clock by Amy Haught, 2006

  This is a wall clock that I created with wood, wire, and beads-- The paint color used is a combo of red, and yellow. The wire used is a thick gauge lead free soldier. The clock measures 12" from the top of the highest "ha" to the bottom of the wire "laugh". The clock hands are silver. This is a clock I designed, it is completely hand-made, with the exception of the clock mechanism. It's inspiration comes from my family, a group of people who love to get together and just laugh!!

  Christmas Cat Folk Art Painting

  by Donna Hickerson, 2005. Acrylic on 4 inch round wood plaque protected with satin varnish. The rim is painted a deep holiday green and the frame is a light mint green. This cat is a real ham and loves all the attention. He is posing in front of the family's Christmas tree looking very dressed up with his green, red and yellow collar. He is a rare male calico cat made up of colors of black and medium burnt sienna with blue eyes and a pink nose. The Christmas tree is a bright green with blue, red and pink ornaments. The background is a deep golden yellow heart shape framed in a circle of cheerful red. There is glitter on the red background and on the Christmas tree that adds a nice sparkle.

  abstract serving tray and four mini wines

  This is a completely hand painted tray created by artisan Amy Haught. The tray measures 15 inches by 15 inches, with a height of 4 inches. Deep purple acrylic paint is used as the base color while spice brown, olive green, red, brown-orange, and light blue are used for the circles and lines. The entire tray is protected with a UV gloss varnish. The tray is elevated on four round wooden balls. Black coiled iron handles are attached to each side of the tray for carrying. The back of the tray is signed by the artist, Amy Haught. Four mini wine glass's are included. They measure 5 1/2 inches tall, and are wrapped with soldier wire and affixed with a special glass/metal glue. A flat back stone adorns the top of each coil on the glasses. Handwash only (both tray and wine glass's)
