Good news, gamer girls. The Sony Playstation 3 has undergone a fabulous makeover. The
PS3 Slim, available now for pre-order from various online retailers, is not only slimmer (and thus more space-saving and more portable), but cheaper and
greener too, using 34% less power than the original model. I'm not sure if remodeling itself to more closely resemble the Wii will give it equally stellar sales as its skinny competitor cousin, but the lower price will be sure to send
gamers to the store who were once thwarted by the intimidating price tag. While the system has reportedly been spotted at select
Best Buy stores already (hmm, mysterious), it doesn't officially hit the shelves until September 1st.
