Sure, it's not a Bes-Ben, but in contemporary glamour terms , it is a substantial improvement. Sure, I'd like to wander around w/ a facsimile of a brid's net on my head [compleat w/ plastic birdies] but am certain it is not EVERYones cuppa. Sure [redux], Garbo & Crawford, etc & ect, wore these w/ pride--be they bananas [no pun intended], other tiny plastic fruit, dice, birdies &/or bees [my favorite. Great to wear w/ Bill Gibb], but i cannot see this being driven by a less wack-rocker lookin type contemporaneously. Still, for any- & everyone who has taste beyond the everlovin [point &/or sarcasm deeply intended]--for those of us w/ taste [or a deep nostalghia for the fashions occurring long before one's birth], bes-bens cannot easily go wrong..... Neither can this hat. Wear it for parties, to the health food store, to the museum, to Barney's {where they will look at you strange}, but by all means--BUY IT. WEAR IT. woulda if i coulda.....
