At age 26, handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff has achieved a level of acclaim and success that is the designer's equivalent to the American Dream, I mean, what greater validation is there for a designer than the knowledge that your handbags are on virtually every 'It Girl's' must-have list? While best known for her handbag collections, Rebecca actually started out as a clothing designer and it wasn't until her good friend, actress Jenna Elfman, asked her to design a bag for an upcoming movie that the 'morning after' bag was born.
