As a nostalgic '80s and '90s baby, I've always looked back at wearing
Keds fondly. It's sort of like remembering when MTV used to play music videos: a distant, heartwarming memory of a time that, sadly, will likely never repeat itself. Looking through Keds' newest offerings, though, I might be forced to rethink my stance. They're actually pretty adorable! The company has updated its iconic Champion shoe (or "skips," to some of us) in funky colors and fabrics (such as
croc-embossed leather) and even launched a
Keds Studio on their Web site where you can design your own version of the classic sneaker. In addition, Keds and
Tracy Reese's Plenty line have collaborated on a collection that might have quite a few of us itching to jump back on the Keds bandwagon (just please don't break out the multicolored slouch socks with them...please?). Check out the slideshow for a Keds update!
