It is not my scene, although like all good first gen punkrockers, I spent entirely too much time scratching about its edges, largely for semi-legal [i was way underage], semi-gainful, semi-interesting, semi-dreadful employment. Now you can find these for a hundred bucks via knockeroffers such as Pleaser. Then you could find a single perfect, startling, eerie pair hanging from hooks at the Pleasure Chest, when the shop disquieted & not simply titilated its patrons, before it entered tne mainstream. Now you can find such boots ANYwhere--& LSB has nothing on these antiques! They, in their red & their black, specifically noted hereupon & the best I have yet eyed, these reside at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The demi- have become ultra-mondaine. Alberta Ferretti teamed Grecian dresses with Twenties-style flapper fringing, creating a fluttery, feminine collection that was truly gorgeous. The café au lait fringed hot pants look super-stylish with the cream satin cami, broken up nicely with an embellished belt.

Evidence: Pink leather; about fifty five [$55] bucks [thirty nine pounds]; nice, unusually fashioned front end stripes; twenties/thirties/sixties [twenties/thirties flapper youth revival] w/ a higher heel. Conclusion: Cant beat it w/ a stick. Little bit of a Westwood/Geiger/Irregular Choice/something Fly something [cant remember] as well. Nice job.

Couldnt figure out which, if any, but it's a gorgeous dress. A little weary, but worth its restoration's weight in platinum, probably. One of the better flapper dresses i, old & equally weary vintage hand, have found on Ebay. For a hundred bucks, if the measurements--which are not, btw, small--are considerably larger than yr own [so as to not stress the fabric further], this is a grand opportunity for an equally [redux] grand object's purchase.
