    Donna Karan: The Infinity Dress

    image

I'm completely in love with Donna Karan's The Infinity Dress for the many ways you can wear it oh so stylishly. I'm a huge fan of convertible dressing. Donna Karan takes her minimalist system of dressing even further with the Infinity Dress which can be worn as a dress, top, or skirt. Add a tee, tank, or leggings and instantly expand your wardrobe options. Plus, just think of all the space you'll save in your luggage when you travel! It's the perfect LBD! The Infinity Dress is hitting the stores now ($895 at Neiman Marcus or Saks) and comes in black, red, and ink. Just in time for the holidays!

    Amsterdam International Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010: ...

    image

Born in Los Angeles from the socialite mind of Ava Riley and brought to Amsterdam in cooperation with Olcay Gulsen, the SuperTrash collection may exude plenty of Hollywood It-Girl glamour at heart, but it has undoubtedly adopted plenty of Dutch flavor. The label showed at this season's Amsterdam International Fashion Week in a crowded venue with former supermodel Janice Dickinson as a special guest sitting front row. The collection was split into three themes: Animal Jungle, Blossom and Kaleidoscope. The first was inspired by all imperfections of nature, such as animal prints and flowing lines, while the second theme conjured up spring-like elements- elegant, glamorous, and a little naive. Kaleidoscope was all about colors with bright tunics and caftans. Overall it was very commercial, very feminine, and a very playful display of fashion that SuperTrash pulled off well. Take a look at the slideshow for a glimpse of the collection!

The recent end of Miami Fashion Week has all us Bees buzzing over the newest swimsuits and accessories; plus the stars say you're destined for at least another two months of fun in the sun! While you may be a little behind in picking up a whole slew of brand-new bathing suits, it's never too late to splurge on a cool caftan, pareo, maxi dress, or other means of keeping your sexy suit incognito until it's time to dive in. Not sure how you should cover-up in the latter half of summer? Let the fates be your guide! Leos will pack plenty of drama in a split-sleeve olive tunic and Gemini gals will bring out some inner Latin-flavored fire with an off-the-shoulder baby doll cover-dress. Beyonce, Keri Hilson or Alicia Keys: Which BET Beauty Stole ...

The BET Awards were just held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and it was a bittersweet show this year due to the sudden passing of Michael Jackson. Personally, the most poignant moment was Beyonce performing "Arms Of An Angel" in remembrance, but you also had other knock-out performers like as Jay-Z, gospel duo Mary Mary, Keri Hilson and Monica. Some favorites won: Beyonce for Best Female R&B Artist, Ne-Yo for Best Male R&B, Keri Hilson walked away with 'Best New Artist' and Lil' Wayne is still on top with a 'Best Male Hip-Hop Artist win. Great, but no real surprises there! Aside from the big celeb names, fist-pumping performances and musical memories, stars were also lighting up the red carpet and showing it off pre-show! Many of the men cleaned up nicely, but it was the women that did the real show-stopping and head-turning. Beyonce showed some leg in a marbled Balmain dress, Alicia Keys looked confident and sexy in a sari-inspired tunic, and Keri Hilson made a bold statement in a pop-art, mosaic strapless sheath dress. Which BET bombshell do you think was the most daring songstress on the red carpet?

Buckle Up For ASTARS By Alpinestars Women's Line

    image
Pauline Montupet on Jun 7, 2009 9:30 AM PDT
Ready to write a page in your own motorcycle dairy? Turn to ASTARS, a new line by Italian motorcycle company Alpinestars. They have been outfitting motorist and car enthusiasts for over 45 years and started a men€™s contemporary line 4 years ago. The new ASTARS brand for women draws inspiration from Alpinestars€™ rich motorsports history without going overboard. No need to be a grease monkey in the garage or rip around the track on a Ducati for these duds. The clothes are made for watching the race, not winning it. The line includes plenty of slouchy tanks and vintage motorcycle tees as well as a few vegan-friendly motorcycle jackets that look just like the real thing James Dean wore back in the day. It provides just the right touch of motorcycle toughness for your everyday look. Take a gander at my slideshow for some of my favorite pieces, then buy some for yourself at alpinestars.com.
