Cute Things To Put Stuff In

    image
Amber Fijolek on Jun 22, 2009 2:18 PM PDT
Sometimes you've just got too much stuff. Or, perhaps, sometimes it just feels like it. As a girl with a problem with misplacing things (my friends like to apply the term "loser"), there's no system I haven't tried when it comes to organizing all of my loose ends. Fittingly, I get excited when I see things that can contain my things. Especially if they're cute things that I can put those things in. When your recycled shoe box just isn't doing it for you and your home, there's a basket, box, bucket, cup, or tray out there to bring your room (and your pile of things) together. Now, it may not help you find where your things are -- for me, there's really no hope there -- but at least it'll help you express and articulate what impeccably good taste in decorating you have!

My favorite aspect of art deco-style home decor has to be the ultra-glam mirrored furnishings. Not only can you see your fabulous self reflected in them, but mirrored pieces catch light, making rooms appear more spacious and bright. They also come in styles perfect for every living space from bathroom to bedroom and traditional to modern. Considering bringing one of these sparkly pieces into your home? Well, Stylehive can help! We've seen a fair share of mirrored chests of drawers, but lately the Hive has also been chock-full of unique mirrored home statement pieces and accessories. From a pair of versatile mirrored storage cubes to an affordable reflective glass tray, and even an old Hollywood-style entertainment cabinet, the Hive has tons of reflective home decor options. Hive 5: Be a Queen in the Animal Kingdom

Sure everyone loves animals, and animal print is great, but why not show off more than their skin? Instead, opt for cute animal inspired apparel- we just love their little faces. You loved it so much as a kid and now you can have a much more age appropriate (and better fitting) version! Alright, so I don't mean go out and buy a Björk swan dress lookalike, but a foxy Insight bathing suit, a quiet-as-a-mouse Marc ballet flat, or a panda dress that will hug your curves can surely enhance your outfit and not scare away small children. These cute-as-a-button animal pieces will definitely put a smile on your face, well, unless you're Cruella De Vil, of course. Stop by the SLIDESHOW to see a couple of choices from the Hive's wild kingdom.
