Vintage 1930's Diamond Engagement or Wedding Ring in Platinum Setting - .55 CTW or Over 1/2 CT
Fine 1930's engagement ring in a platinum setting with 40 point center diamond. The setting is a size 7-1/4 and is in excellent condition with almost no wear. It still shows an etched leaf design on the shoulders and it has 10 diamonds that total 15 points. The center diamond has excellent clarity, and color (VS2, I). It is a transitional cut, also known as an "Early Modern Cut", with a small open culet. The setting is marked "10% IRID PLAT" and the ring weighs 3.6 grams. I don't come across rings of this quality very often. Insured shipping in the USA will be $14.50.
