No matter how much you try to keep your inner nerdiness and Facebook addiction on the down-low, we are living in a digital age, so it's about time you openly embrace it -- in and out of the closet! While all this fuss about portable HD camcorders and YouTube videos and TV channels may make pixelated images a thing of the distant past (reserved for old school Pac Man machines), digital prints are making a comeback in the form of clothing and accessories! This Pixelated Stretch Dress by Nicole Miller is perfect for the computer nerd who really knows how to clean up, and this Pixel Flower Necklace will have you rubbing your eyes in confusion... in a good way! Take a look at the slideshow for some of my favorite pixelated prints that will play all sorts of geeky tricks on your eyes.

Nicole Smith is an editor at CraftStylish, a site dedicated to fashionable-fun projects and stylish how-tos. Below she shares how to make your own argyle throw, perfect for cozying up in your dorm room or taking along to the beach!

This low-sew throw gives new meaning to the phrase "college sweater-ves." Preppy, yes, but the diamond-shaped pattern feels less stuffy in these vibrant colors. It's super-easy with light stitching, keeps you warm on winter nights, and makes the perfect picnic blanket! You'll Need: 2 1/8 yards (60"-wide) cream fleece, 2 1/8 yards (60"-wide) goldenrod fleece, 15 skeins of embroidery floss in cranberry, a large-eye embroidery needle, a water-soluble marker, paper and pencil, scissors, pins, and a yardstick. Get yourself equipped, then click on over to CraftStylish for the full step-by-step process, along with other fun crafts to keep you busy during the long days of summer!

Jet Set Travel Essential: White And Warren's Travel Wrap

    image
Anna Yu on Apr 30, 2009 5:22 AM PDT
I love having something cozy to travel in. I always cram the most I can into the smallest amount of space. This "something cozy" must be light weight, wrinkle-free and easily rolled then shoved into my carry on. I've found the perfect thing: the White and Warren Travel Wrap. At first I thought it was one of those drapey, wrappy cardigans, but it's actually a long, luscious scarf made out of comfy jersey t-shirt fabric. And it comes in just about any color you can imagine, so it helps make your travel outfit that much more fashionable. You could easily get away with wearing a black tunic and leggings, or a jeans and a white tank and throwing one of these on. The travel wrap is long and wide and can double as a travel throw, but since it's made of t-shirt fabric it can easily fit in small spaces. Scarves are a must-have when traveling and flying, and this one is a perfect addition to your airplane wardrobe - plus it'll be great to have when you get to your destination, too, whether it's winter or summer! Banish Those Winter Blues And Lounge In Style!

The weather outside may be frightful (sorry, bad pun!) and the last thing you want to do is get out of bed, but that doesn't mean you can't bring a little glam into your life. Take this opportunity to chill out, relax, and take some time off of your busy schedule. Steal your favorite men's shirt from your dad or boyfriend like the long sleeve crew shirt from James Perse and slip on a pair of slim fit fleece pants. Grab a soft faux fur throw and cashmere slippers and you're ready to go! Make some hot chocolate with extra marshmallows and escape to warmer weather by reading books set in exotic locations. Or beautify yourself with some home spa treatments. Find out what to wear without looking like a total slob by checking out my slideshow!

Our Favorite Couch Potato-Approved Blankets And Throws!

    image
Lisanne Silverman on Nov 25, 2008 4:09 PM PST
It's finally getting cold in San Francisco, and I plan on using the suddenly season-appropriate weather to my advantage. And while actually having a decent excuse for skipping out on a morning run due to impending rain is probably causing an irrational level of excitement as it is, it's the idea of staying indoors and drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows three times a day (Sugar Free Swiss Miss, I am forever indebted to you) that's really making me appreciate the weather. Since there's really nothing better than spending a chilly day curled up on the couch with your favorite book, DVD, person, or bottle of wine (in the evening, of course), I've put together an assortment of cozy blankets and throws that will make those moments even more irresistible! I'm especially drawn to the cable knit throws that luxury knitwear label Lutz & Patmos created in collaboration with West Elm- imagine your favorite oversized sweater made even bigger- then imagine sleeping in it. Might want to have these gift wrapped when you order them so your potential holiday gifts don't fall victim to a love at first snuggle situation! Check out the slideshow for my favorites.
