We recently fell in love with Fancy Picnic, a hot new company on the DIY scene. UK Designer Charlotte creates multi-textural pieces that will help you add those finishing touches to your favorite outfits. Charlotte loves working with gorgeous textiles, silken threads, luscious braids, vintage buttons and sparkly beads as she creates a variety of wearable jewelry. And the bright colors will spice up your late summer and fall outfits. We've also found some of our other favorite designers dishing up some tempting textile eye candy. Check out gorgeous necklaces by 7thMagpie, Shagpile, and Kirev8. And if you need an elegant neutral piece, All Things Pretty's "Once Upon A Time" necklace for $195 is a must see. This dreamy piece, made from layers of lace, vintage and antique, crocheted and tatted - it is a real work of art. Check out our slideshow for some more handmade designer textile pieces.

Old Style: 7 Mean Shaheen Dresses for All You Vintage ...

Alfred Shaheen designed fabrics and clothing for over 40 years, creating one of the largest manufacturing operations that Hawaii would ever see. In the 1950s, he built an $8 million factory complex that allowed him to print, dye and finish all his own fabrics. And his textile designs are legendary! Inspired by Hawaiian, Polynesian and Asian cultures, each print was lovingly handscreened onto the fabric. Then that fabric was fashioned into everything from bombshell sundresses to elegant cocktail attire, from fun little playsuits to casual hostess gowns. Just click my slideshow to see a sample of his talent.
