    For a charity event in London, fashion heavy-hitter Sienna Miller rocked a daring, disheveled, rocker-chic style that had fabulous written all over it. Never one to shy away from taking a fashion risk, Sienna showed a bit of skin wearing a sequined vest as a top under a studded Temperley London blazer paired with faded low-rise jeans. She kept on with the rocker motif in the footwear department with a pair of Alejandro Ingelmo metallic woven slingbacks and completed her fierce look with a sleek black Romanek clutch.     My love of fashion began with handbags, an obsession that is still going strong and for good reason! The right bag is an essential ingredient to any ensemble with the power to make or break your overall look. Handbags are definitely splurge-worthy items to which the principle of quality over quantity should be adhered. A new year is upon us and with that comes the motivation to cultivate a new and more fabulous you! My first splurge for 2009 will absolutely be on a new handbag, something chic and practical that keep me perpetually fabulous this year and in the years to come.     Bag Of The Week: The Temperley London Pandora Bag

    I know it's been a while since I shared scoop with you, but I've been swamped planning the BagTrends Arm Candy Party. I'm pleased to say the event was a big success and we're already discussing dates for the next party; I'm personally on the hunt for the right mix of designers to spotlight. But, back to the bag-a-licious matters at hand. Despite the recession, depression, Wall Street turmoil and mortgage crisis, I'd still like to window shop €“ it doesn't hurt and it's therapeutically healing! Right now, with my mouth open, I'm causing a serious fog cloud at the window that holds this Temperley London Pandora Bag. The evil inside this Pandora's Box is only the price tag. Otherwise, I'm all over this retro handbag style €“ love the frame openings, the piping (that to me kind of forms a snake eye), the merlot color and the custom gold hardware. It's low on the pocket count, but I think I'm willing to overlook that point!

    Come fall 2008, all the Teletubbies are gonna be envying Tinky Winky's style. I'm not sure if the credit should go to the Tinks or everyone's favorite dinosaur Barney, but purple was EVERYWHERE this past New York Fashion Week, and will be the shade to crave when fall hits. From electric purple, to pale purple, to plum, to violet, and every shade in between, this snazzy hue is the one thing preventing us all from classifying the fall '08 runway collections and bleak, drab, and dreary.
