    image

Last week, actress Megan Fox won the award for "Female Hottie" alongside Robert Pattinson at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, California. Renato Campora for Frederic Fekkai created a young tousled, soft and sexy look for Megan, perfect for strutting the red carpet and accepting her life-size surfboard onstage. Below she shares how to create the look yourself!

The Look: Tousled, soft and sexy

How to Get the Look: In order to achieve Megan Fox's soft and sexy summer look Renato started out by using FEKKAI COIFF Strong Hold Volume Mousse on damp hair to create sexy texture that holds. He then air-dried her hair his fingers and used a one-inch curling iron to make long soft waves and give the hair a modern and fresh feeling. He then spritzed the hair with FEKKAI GLOSSING Sheer Shine Mist to add shine and finished with FEKKAI Sheer Hold Hair Spray to maintain the look all show long.

Miley, Britney, & The "Twilight" Gang Sink Their Teeth Into ...

Forget "Jon & Kate Plus 8," "Dating in the Dark" or any of the other "quality" television programming you have scheduled on your TiVo for tonight -- the 2009 Teen Choice Awards on Fox is where it's at. If you're still a teen at heart (or are literally still a teen) and are dying to see the "Twilight" gang take home another dozen awards for their angst-ridden bloodsucking antics or witness Megan Fox nab a couple decorative surfboards basically just for looking hot, the event is a must-see. Despite the actual award-winnings and acceptance speeches, the Teen Choice Awards (which took place last night but air this evening at 8) are still worth a gander if you're looking for a break from your mindless channel-surfing, since the red carpet boasted an impressive parade of celebrities -- those in their teen years and beyond. Aside from the fact that so many stars were actually in attendance, what was even more impressive was just how skimpy some of the red carpet ensembles were (ahem Miley Cyrus). Check out the slideshow for some of the red carpet highlights before the event even airs!

Celeb Style Steal: Go Abstract Like Brittany Snow

At the Teen Choice Awards, actress Brittany Snow made a show-stopping splash on the blue carpet wearing a vibrant strapless floral minidress by Jill Stuart paired with ravishing red pumps. To prevent sensory overload, Brittany balanced this high-octane look by exercising accessory-restraint, selecting only two pieces- small diamond hoops and an oversized cocktail ring. A richly-colored dress like this one is almost always universally flattering and can beautifully enhance any complexion, just as it did for Brittany. The flirty florals make this dress perfect for summer, but with a little maneuvering, it can easily make the transition to fall- a slim cardigan, tights, a pair of funky booties and there ya go! Check out my SLIDESHOW for 5 fun and flirty dresses similar to Brittany's that will keep you fashionably fabulous year-round.

At this year's Teen Choice Awards, the stunning Scarlett Johansson took a break from her signature sizzling screen-siren style, trying out an airy, youthful, ultra-femme look. To offset the soft, romantic feel of her peach beaded chiffon Matthew Williamson dress, Scarlett incorporated some edgy and playful accessories to the look, including the Jimmy Choo platforms in hot purple, and a chunky necklace by Sonia Boyajian- who also designed Scarlett's engagement ring which she FINALLY started wearing in public! The overall effect was a sweet, subdued look that still stayed true to Scarlett's adventurous essence. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get this golden girl's gorgeous look!

Celeb Style Steal: Rachel Bilson's Sexy Ethereal Look

When it comes to fashion, actress Rachel Bilson is a true chameleon evidenced by the fact that no matter what trend or style she chooses, she pulls it off perfectly, always creating her style, rather than emulating someone else's. At the Teen Choice Awards, Rachel- who picked up an award for Choice Movie Actress- rocked a look that was equally elegant, ethereal, and playfully sexy. Wearing a one shoulder icy blue dress from the Brian Reyes Pre-Spring 2009 collection paired with nude Lanvin pumps (a good tip for petite girls like Rachel to create the illusion of longer legs), finishing off with some fabulous accessories including a slim Marni clutch, oversized Amrapali earrings, and a gold cocktail ring, Rachel provided yet another flawless look to inspire budding fashionistas everywhere! This year's Teen Choice Awards was a fun-filled event replete with lots of laughs and of course, a myriad of stellar styles from young Hollywood's brightest stars. One of the night's most memorable looks belonged to singer Fergie, who looked vibrant, edgy, and absolutely haute-hippilicious in a flaming fuchsia and red long flowing Etro dress worn with colorful bracelets, an edgy belt, and a long loose boho-braid. Redken stylist Patricia Morales, who styled Fergie's locks for the event, explained "since her dress was very bohemian, we wanted her hair to be a little edgier but still complement her look. I showed her a series of braids I have been working on and she chose the fish tail braids." Click READ MORE for a step-by-step guide to see how Patricia created this beautiful boho-look.
