Natalie Portman is about as intriguing as a person can be. With unquestionable talent, a Harvard degree in psychology, a poise and sense of self stronger than most, she is a rare thing to find in the movie industry. With 15 years of experience, she's taking her career by the reins, creating her own production company, handsomecharlie (named after her late dog, Charlie), and trying her hand at writing and directing her first feature film. Politically and socially active, Natalie is raising awareness toward the causes that are closest to her heart like animal rights and environmentalism, most recently by designing her own line of super chic vegan footwear for Te Casan.

In the land of celebrity, there are two surefire ways to get attention. The first is to behave like a member of the Spears family, and the second is to venture into the land of fashion design. Silver screen darling Natalie Portman has opted for the latter and is the latest of a mile long list of celebs to add €˜designer€™ to her resume, by designing a vegan shoe line in collaboration with New York shoe boutique Te Casan . While we€™re SO over the whole celebs pretending to be (I mean becoming) designers thing, we have to admit that we€™re kind of loving these red patent shoes, and we kind of worship Natalie€™s sense of style, and we kind of wish we could dress like her, so we€™re kind of excited to see the rest of this collection. And we can€™t stop ourselves from thinking about other fashion-forward celebs who we€™d kind of like to see turn designer (yes, believe it or not, there actually are a few of them left).
