Just because summer is drawing to a close, it doesn't mean you need to ditch your fab summer glow and banish all your tan-enhancing products to their train-case storage. In fact, there's one place that might have been neglected by your bronzing beach days -- your lips! While the idea of a tan is certainly summery, the bronze-y shimmer of this Too Faced Lip Bronzer is completely fall festive. The tropical flavors and scents may have you nostalgic for poolside days of your recent past, but the three pretty golden-based shades and skin-soothing conditioners never go out of season! Plus, as a compulsive buyer of all lip gloss, especially shimmery versions of natural hues, I can't help but be on board for this sun-kissed take on the nude lip!

    Price: $17 each

Hot In The Hive: UVSunSense Sun Monitor Wristbands

    image

Time flies when you're having fun in the sun. One minute you're happy as a clam, playing volleyball or reading a book on the beach, the next you're stomping down the aisles at Walgreens in search of aloe for that gnarly sunburn you've earned. You already know that too much sun exposure is harmful, and you've had enough peeling shoulders in your time to recognize the importance of sunscreen, but even the most seasoned of sun-baskers have a hard time keeping of track of their last sunscreen application or even knowing exactly when it's time to call it a day and take cover. Enter UVSunSense sun monitoring wristbands. Worn on your wrist in addition to a nice slathering of SPF 15 or higher, the band's surface changes color to alert you when it's time to either slop on some more sunscreen or find the nearest shady spot ASAP. Sure, they might be a pretty dorky-looking excuse for a bangle, but they look a heck of a lot cooler than a blistering lobster complexion!

    Price: $6.89 for a pack of 7

The Hottest Lotions And Bronzers For Soaking Up The Sun (Or ...

I don't know about you, but as unhealthy as the sun's harmful rays are, I have a hard time staying out of the sun on those blessed days when it actually decides to come out of hiding and make an appearance. After all, who can resist a fresh sun-kissed glow (when it doesn't start out as a gnarly burn, that is)? Luckily for us sun-hungry bathing beauties, plenty of our favorite top-of-the-line cosmetics lines have hopped onto the bronzing bandwagon and offer loads of options when it comes to getting that summer-worthy warm color sun-free, faking it on a day-to-day basis with natural-looking bronzer or shimmery body makeup, and sunscreen and after-sun lotion for safer outdoor basking. From Lindsay Lohan's anticipated new self-tanner Sevin Nyne to a Tarte bronzing stick made just for channeling those sun-toned summer legs, sun-free is always safer, but you can still be smart and play it safe while in the sun without having to stay winter-ashy all summer long! Khaki Suits Keep It Cool In The Spring And Summer

    image

A khaki suit is like a refreshing beverage on a warm day. It's crisp. It's light and it suits (no pun intended) the season. As the cooler seasons come to a close, put your black suit on the back burner and go for some lighter fare. A suit within the color palette of khaki can look just as good and sleek as a black suit. Another bonus for the khaki garb is that a lot of them are sold as separates and there's more versatility with the pieces-- but personally, I like to keep them all together. I have a separate black and khaki blazer that I use as my fail-safe separate. With the Ralph Lauren Rugby Newbury Chino suit, you can look like the perfect dandy and with a classic Brooks Brothers two-button poplin suit you can be the refined gentleman you were meant to be. A khaki or tan suit has this "happy-go-lucky" vibe that shines with the sun. With the right shirt, tie and pocket square, a lighter suit is a must for the spring and summer seasons. Check out the slideshow for some of these cool suits that are a lighter shade of brown.

8 Ways To Get A Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model's Beachy Style!

    image

Having just a casual interest in sports, I've only ever picked up a copy of Sports Illustrated once a year -- for the ever-famous swimsuit issue. That's actually a statistic I share with many of my sports-loving guy friends, however while they pick up the sexy edition to ogle at and cut out pin-ups of pretty girls, I need to flip the pages to see this season's newest beach attire. Of course, in my younger days, I dreamt of once becoming one of those girls wearing an itty-bitty swimsuit. (Well, who wouldn't want to wear hot swim suits on the set of a photoshoot in an exotic paradise?). These girls are the icons of summer, with their smooth sun-kissed skin and tide-tousled locks. Dream we may about being Brooklyn Decker or Bar Rafaeli, but we mere mortals can achieve Sport's Illustrated sexiness with the application of a few of these Lucia Dvorska and the like-inspired tricks.
