Fashion would be nothing like the cultural mega-force it is today without international influence, and believe me, it goes much farther than the fact that another H&M store pops up every time we blink. That's why I'm so inspired by StyleDiary, where real people from all over the world are posting pictures of their outfits, with everything from the everyday to the experimental. Recently I've taken notice of quite a few Swedish Stylediarists whose outfits quickly caught my attention. Drawn to creativity and expression as a child, her background in advertising only added to her desire to work in graphic design. The inspiration for her work comes from people-- the way they live now, the way they used to live, and the behaviors and memories that make them who they are. Situated in the small village of JukkasjÃ¤rvi more than 120 miles north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden, along the River Torne and beneath the Northern Lights, ICEHOTEL is the world's first and most famous ice hotel. It is rebuilt from scratch every winter, constructed entirely from blocks of ice collected from the nearby river. The sprawling igloo-like structure usually features 60 guest rooms (ranging from $170-$800 per night, depending on the room) in addition to a sauna, ice bar, chapel, reception hall, and theater.
