Stylishly Spooky Halloween Jewelry You'll Want To Wear All ...

Who says you need a campy store-bought costume to be festive this Halloween? I'm all for dressing up, but there's more to getting into the haunted holiday spirit than black lipstick and fishnets. If you're a jewelry gal (but then again, what girl isn't?), there are tons of trendy Halloween-themed charms, pendants, bangles, and even cocktail rings that are bound to appeal to your inner trick-or-treater. This Swarovski Ghost Charm is an adorably festive addition to any charm bracelet or keychain, and if you aren't a huge arachnophobe like I am, this spider ring from Betsey Johnson is appropriately gothic-chic. But just because they're perfect for the spooky season doesn't mean they're too kitschy to wear after the 31st -- this skull-embellished wrap bracelet by Alexander McQueen will still be stylish even after all your candy has been devoured! Spotted In Hawaii: Anteprima Hello Kitty Wirebag

While on vacation in Oahu, I spotted this cute Hello Kitty wirebag from the Anteprima store in the Royal Hawaiian Center. It's not my style but being that Anteprima doesn't have stores in mainland USA, I was quite curious about their Wirebag. According to Anteprima, Wirebag is "hand-knitted by skilled craftsman using exclusive wire from Italy" and features a "stretchable and flexible bag shape which can be shaped or resume to original." The Hello Kitty bags are limited edition and exclusive to the Oahu stores and are encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The "Brillante Kitty" Boston wirebag in Nero Opaco (black) is $868 (small) and $2210 (large). The Orogento (gold) bag is $961 (small). Pretty pricey, but a great addition to any couture Kitty collection!

Hot In The Hive: Bling Band Aids

While I'm not sure I'll ever understand why rapper Nelly thought it was fashionable to wear a band aid on his face, there's something about these Bling Band Aids that really floats my boat. I don't know if it's the Swarovski crystals, the variety of colors they come in, or the fact that they're fairly reasonably priced considering their "bling" factor, but I just can't help but think they're pretty sweet. I'm not saying I'm going to start wearing them on my face (or anywhere for that matter) when I'm not even wounded, and I'm certainly not going to jump for joy every time I nick myself shaving and have an excuse to wear one, but the little sparkles have me sort of smitten. You have to admit, they're a lot cuter than those Hello Kitty bandages from Target... and that's saying a lot.

    Price $12

Stylehive's Stylescopes Help You Face The Music This Week!

One thing that can often be taken for granted is music. Even if your own musical talent only extends to playing "Hot Cross Buns" on the recorder, music is still bound to be a big part of your life. What would you do on your morning commute without a handful of stations to flip through? How would you ever get through your daily workout without your trusty iPod (aside from watching reruns of The Hills on the gym TV sets, of course)? Summer's the time to kick back, relax, and show your appreciation for some sweet tunes on the road, at the beach, or... on your earlobes? Aries girls will channel their inner acoustic rock goddess with guitar pick earrings from Fred Flare and Scorpios can DJ on the go (or at least attempt to) with a portable USB turntable! Check the slideshow for your sign's pick of music-inspired clothes, jewelry, and accessories!

    Skinny Stackable Bracelets For Summer!

    image

I recently went for a browse at the Swarovski store and found that they had a great selection of bracelets that made me feel like I was visiting Japan. They were sooo adorably cute, it was hard for me to pick just one. I ended up deciding on the gold crystal-encrusted Green Bracelet ($125) because I just loved the little trees sparking in pink and purple and the reversible pink shiny epoxy on the other side. What's great about it too is that it's thin and dainty enough to wear with other bracelets and jewelry without having that piled on look. I love the idea of wearing a few different kinds of skinny bracelets all together to make up your own look! For other ideas, I also love the Euphoria Golden Shadow Bracelet, also from Swarovski, and the Lotus Bracelet from Nordstrom for a similar delicate look sans the bling. Hot In The Hive: Swarovski-Crusted XBox Microphone Set By ...

A little bling never hurt... unless of course you decide to spend a whole month's rent on that little extra dazzle. Apparently Crystal Roc, known for their Swarovski bling-embellished musical equipment and the most gloriously bedazzled sets of headphones I've ever laid eyes on, is now targeting the fashionable video gamers/musician wannabes in addition to their professional singing clientele (including the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Leona Lewis). Made for the popular XBox singing game Lips, and also compatible with select versions of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, this limited edition studded mic set is due out later this year and destined to have gaming gals channeling their inner pop diva. But based on the size of its rumored price tag, I'm thinking that maybe those rare 100 sets reported to be in circulation are best saved for those who already have a comparable income to spend on such lavish geeky luxuries. After all, you can't exactly moonlight as an open mic XBox singer to help pay for them (but maybe some day).

    Price: $680
