    Influential International Style: Charlotte Casiraghi

If there was one icon I could choose to dress exactly like, Princess Charlotte Casiraghi would be it. The girl has it going on - royal pedigree, killer style, and hey, she's an editor-in-chief of Above magazine. Her style can be described as classically tailored, yet with a flair for rock and roll details. Whether she's rocking skinny jeans and boots, and a gorgeous scarf, or making a public appearance in a fabulous black dress with lace detailing, she can make any outfit look spectacular. Having a busy day? Channel Charlotte and pick up your hair in a messy bun, and wrap a scarf like crazy around your neck over a simple t-shirt. Voila! You have a fabulous outfit... and didn't even have to wash your hair. Check out my slideshow for some style tips from the royal herself! Photo credit: PR Photos

    Influential International Style: Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger knows what's up. As the female lead in Inglorious Basterds, as well as the less recent classics like Troy and Wicker Park, she never fails to sparkle in a performance. Although she won the Cannes Chopard Trophy in 2003, I have to say that her performance at Cannes this year really put her in the stratosphere. Her style is impeccable. She takes risks in interesting sleeves, cutaways, crazy patterns and haute couture texture. She tends to stick with basic black, but chooses outrageous texture and true haute couture. It's no wonder she's Karl Lagerfeld's little darling! One of the reasons she's looked so good lately? Karl himself has used her as a muse since she appeared in Chanel handbag ads in 2007. Looking great and feeling good; is it possible? Of course, says swimwear designer Rebecca Virtue, creator of Becca Swim. For the woman who dreads buying a swimsuit, Becca Swim offers comfortable and wearable pieces that are fashionable and stylish. Every season Virtue pans thousands of prints to choose the best colors for her collection. Her pieces are mix and match with a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Sit poolside in a Mediterranean-inspired aqua number, or lounge under a cabana in a Grecian-inspired print. While you lounge in the sun, you can give yourself props for helping the environment as well; Becca Swim is one of the first swimwear designers to have an eco-friendly collection; the majority of her fabrics are made out of soybean.

Influential International Style: Julia Restoin Roitfeld

Maybe at first blush you didn't recognize the name of this style maven, but if you don't already, you will soon know the grace and pedigree of Julia Restoin Roitfeld. To be fair, she had really great fashion upbringing. Her mother, Carine Roitfeld, is the editor-in-chief of French Vogue and formerly the business partner of Mario Testino and muse to Tom Ford, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. The Parsons-educated Julia was the face of Tom Ford's fragrance Black Orchid and her most recent campaign, this time for the new perfume Jil by Jil Sander, will be released soon. What differentiates Julia from most second-generation fashion editors (ahem, Bee Schaffer) is that she takes a unique perspective, and can change the idea you had about a piece of clothing. Like a leopard print tank, sequin miniskirt and oversize blazer. Says Julia, "Some people think that clothes are just things that you wear to cover yourself but I'm blown away because clothes to me are a sort of new pop art. Clothes can be either art or design but need a real purpose." Check out my slideshow for ways to adopt Julia's unique style to your wardrobe! Photo credit: PR Photos

    Influential International Style: Emma Watson

    image

Knowing full-well that she could take advantage of an Invisibility Cloak at any given moment, Emma Watson's status as a rising international style icon is even more impressive. The Harry Potter star is all grown up, and as the new face of the House of Chanel, is rumored to also be replacing Keira Knightley as the face of Burberry. How does a wizard rise to a style queen seemingly overnight? By choosing classic shapes, flattering neutrals, and always looking age appropriate. Whether it's a risk of length or a gorgeous backless gown, there is always a little something extra to Emma Watson's red carpet looks. Also catapulting her into success? Refusing to follow makeup trends and instead choosing flattering shimmers, and backing it all up with a classic updo or soft waves for a hairstyle. Check out my slideshow for ideas of how to Hermione-ize your wardrobe! Photo credit: PR Photos
