Stylediarist grnyr had a simple goal when she started her Stylediary: to get out of the jeans + top rut. I'm sure most of us can relate, as putting together simple outfits can sometimes prove to be a bother. However, the Twin Cities native was able to combine pieces she already owned with new accessories to create a well-constructed, simply elegant style for herself! Whether it was a belted cardigan over skinny jeans, or a mustard vest to punch up her workwear, grnyr gave me some great ideas to update my look within the constructs of my closet. Best of all, the pieces range from Target to Anthropologie to Guess, thus are totally affordable. Check out grnyr's StyleDiary and my slideshow of my favorite looks!

When you think Texas style, you probably think big hair and sequined country star outfits. Well, you might not, but I sure do. Anyway, Stylediarist suchadreamer turns that assumption on its head with her feminine yet flirtatious, country yet cosmopolitan style. Mixing delicate prints with high-waisted skirts, as well as mixing and matching pieces from Native American culture and Western flair, leaves her style with a sense of whimsy and delicacy. Take a page out of her book and mix and match a variety of pieces for a fresher look, and of course, top it off with black stockings. Check out our SLIDESHOW for a snippet of her fabulous Texas style and then head over to her Stylediary and get all the details!

While prancing through Stylediary one lovely morning looking for a unique fashionista, moeppi instantly caught my eye. I love how her style is very well put-together, but has an effortless boho vibe to it. I was drawn to this outfit in particular, and love the ballerina influence behind it. The fitted shorts, casual tee-shirt, pale color palette and pulled back hair give her that soft demure ballerina style and the look is clean and simple as well as creative and fresh. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get her BB look!

Street Style Steal: Get Rachel's "Granny Chic" Look

Leaving my house in Laurel Heights, I caught this funky grandma wannabe for San Francisco's Street Style StyleDiary. Wearing both vintage and new, Rachel was mixing prints and textures to give the comfy layered look a not-so-senior-citizen type twist. A high waisted American Apparel pocketed skirt with a vintage western belt was cute and unexpected. Perfect for a day at the museum, her little blouse and scarf gave it all a touch of fun sophistication. But to tell you the truth, what I really loved was the rolled down scrunchy wool-like socks in heather grey with some cute bronze flats! I had forgotten those wonderful days of childhood comfort, and am now officially bringing it back (into my life, at least). To steal Rachel's vintage-like-grandma-used-to look check out my SLIDESHOW for some ideas to make vintage comfy again.
