Finally, some celeb-approved skinny jeans we can actually afford! Jessica Alba is apparently playing favorites with a new name in designer denim -- Denimocracy, a friend to all bank accounts alike! With high-quality fabrics and fits, Denimocracy brand serves us recessionistas well by providing a trendy, designer-quality alternative to the dictating $200 pairs we love to covet but can't necessarily comfortably afford. With a wide variety of fits and washes, including the "Anarchy" ultra skinny, "Revolt" pencil skinny, and "Republic" slim boot, it's hard not to get swept up in the denim revolution! And with prices like theirs, your bank statement will still look almost as good as you do!

    Price: starting at $58

When In Doubt, Go For The Straight Leg Jeans!

Boot-cut, wide-legged, relaxed fit, bell bottoms€“ the denim universe is jam-packed with styles which make choosing a pair of jeans a daunting task. If it ever becomes too jarring, go for the good ol€™ standby: straight-leg. We are beginning to see a more tailored look for men when it comes to jeans and trousers. Men shouldn€™t be wary of this cut. The trick is to choose a pair of jeans that flatter rather than cling to your body like man leggings. There are various degrees of straight legs. You can go for a more streamlined look with April 77 jeans or you can go for something a little roomy in the thigh from G-Star. Whatever you choose, be sure that you are comfortable. As a general rule of thumb, jeans should fall from the waist and straight down (hence the term, €œstraight-leg€). You€™d be surprised how a pair of straight-legged jeans can flatter your body. Just be sure you don€™t confuse straight-leg with tapered-leg€“ unless you're going for that 90210 circa 1992 look. Click the slideshow to see more straight-leg jeans.
