Cute Things To Put Stuff In

    image
Amber Fijolek on Jun 22, 2009 2:18 PM PDT
Sometimes you've just got too much stuff. Or, perhaps, sometimes it just feels like it. As a girl with a problem with misplacing things (my friends like to apply the term "loser"), there's no system I haven't tried when it comes to organizing all of my loose ends. Fittingly, I get excited when I see things that can contain my things. Especially if they're cute things that I can put those things in. When your recycled shoe box just isn't doing it for you and your home, there's a basket, box, bucket, cup, or tray out there to bring your room (and your pile of things) together. Now, it may not help you find where your things are -- for me, there's really no hope there -- but at least it'll help you express and articulate what impeccably good taste in decorating you have!

    Coquette Says Gimme Shoes!

    image
Natalie Zee Drieu on Jun 4, 2009 5:27 AM PDT
When I lived near Hayes Valley in San Francisco, I used to get off the bus a few stops ahead just so I could wander down Hayes Street and browse around at one of my favorite shoe stores, Gimme Shoes. It was a little happy place for me to just be around all these beautiful shoes, even if I hadn't exactly left room in the budget for an additional pair or two. I'm happy to report that they now have everything online so even if you aren't in San Francisco, you can still shop their extensive and stylish collection! If you are in or around San Francisco, check out their two store locations -- 416 Hayes Street and 2358 Fillmore Street -- to see all the stunning shoes in person! Some of my current favorites are the Loeffler Randall bootie ($578), the Coclico peep-toes ($320), and these ruffled Rachel Comey open-toe heels ($310). When you're finished browsing the covetable collection, click on over to Coquette for more splurge-worthy fashion finds!

What is better than getting your favorite designers at affordable prices? Target's GO International line has made it a snap to find these deals, and with a new bout of handbag designers leaving their mark it seems that Target is truly the place to go. Landing in stores in late December is a line by Thakoon Panichgul. New York-based Thakoon had gigs at J.Crew and Harper€™s Bazaar, and his classic vintage vibe is certainly covetable. If you head into the store post December 28th you will also have the pleasure of finding a new bag line by Hayden-Harnett. There is sure to be a rush for both of these collections, so mark your calenders, ready... set... GO International! Click over to read the full story at People Stylewatch.
