It's not just about colored tights this fall. Pick up a pair of colorful patterned tights with cute stripes, hearts, and lines. I love these V Stripe Light Nylon Tights ($14 at Urban Outfitters) and these All Over Heart Tights ($16 at Topshop). It's a great way to bring some fun to your wardrobe. If you're like me, you're ready for spring. And while the weather may not be, that doesn't mean you have to wait. As the spring collections become available, start incorporating pieces into your winter wardrobe. Dresses with the trends from this spring--bright colors, bold patterns, prairie themes--go great with boots, or better booties! Choose dresses with spring themes in heavier fabrics, pair them with boots, and depending on your zip code, add stockings or leggings for extra insulation. Still looking overcast and gloomy outside your window? It is time to ditch the drab colors and glum charcoals. Charm the sun into the skies with brighter looks! Check out some great pairing ideas on the slideshow.

A fantastical mixture of neon, metallics, and some very unique runway looks, Juicygal makes what most wouldn't even dream of wearing during the light of day, amazingly everyday-friendly. This Stylediarist is an obvious color (and Karen Walker) lover and is a hardcore print mixer. She has fun with larger-than-life plaid bows, brightly colored tights, even brighter flats and wedges, plus accessories galore! She borrows looks and pieces inspired by many different eras, especially from the 80's, and makes them uniquely her own. If you are looking for some fun ways to really wear color, you won't be disappointed. Find some of my favorite looks that she's concocted in the SLIDESHOW, and you'll see that this girl brings the party with her.

NYFW Trend Alert: Coat Your Legs With Candy Colors

To combat the overwhelmingly dark and somber tone that marked the fall/winter €™08 collections, a lot of our favorite designers added unexpected, playful elements to spruce up their collections. I mean, where€™s the fun in fashion without a few risks and surprises? Some designers threw shades of shimmery gold into the mix for added glitz and glamor, others played with plush purples and other rich jewel tones, most went wild with accessories, and a few took risks by playing with pops of brightly colored legs, by far the most fun and funky way to add a much needed spark.
