Got a lipgloss addict on your list of gal pals to shop for this holiday season? Search no more -- Stila has just released the ultimate gift set for anyone who loves sampling their famous brush-on lip glaze at the makeup counter but just can't bring themselves to spend more than $20 a pop! The Lip Glaze Holiday Collection consists of eight slightly-shrunken versions of their gloss for just $25! Four of the colors are best-sellers -- from Kitten (golden caramel) to winter-festive Cranberry (deep red) -- while the other four are brand new! Eight stellar shades at just a fraction of their $80 value? Sounds like a deal I need to jump on, stat! Of course, I should probably hold off on shopping for myself until after I start shopping for my friends and family...

Leave it to Stila to create yet another must-have beauty item. Known for their fun colors and innovative multi-tasking formulas, Stila's smudge pots and lip glazes have earned the company a loyal following. Not to be outdone with their fabulously helpful talking eye palettes, they've recently come out with a product that speaks to both my beauty obsessed and geeky personalities! The Stila makeup player can be described as a train case, sound system and your own private makeup artist all in one. Just download the how-to videos from Stila, load them up onto your iPod Touch (or any other video compatible player), plug it into the makeup player and follow along with the step by step tutorials. The makeup player also comes with some of Stila's best selling items: the One Step Makeup Foundation, and Eye Shadow Trio & #7 Eye Shadow Brush, Convertible Color for cheeks and lips, and their Lip Glaze in Grapefruit. And in true multi-tasking Stila spirit, you can also use the player to blast your favorite music as you put on your makeup or even load up some YouTube videos of your favorite beauty gurus!

Tone Down The Shimmer This Season With Matte Grey Makeup Shades

Say so long to pearlescent gunmetal and chromed-out silvers -- matte grey is the hot beauty shade for the chilly season ahead! Matte nails have already taken the beauty world by storm, but now other makeup products are following in hot pursuit! From soft stone gray to rich chalky charcoal, there's something about matte grey that gives the face an unexpected warmer look than the more common frosty silver shades. While I've noticed that grey shadow seems to bring the best out of green peepers, it's hard to find someone who can't pull off a dark slate eyeliner in place of your basic black. Plus, mattifying your lids leaves room for shimmer elsewhere (ie: cheeks or lips) and helps ensure a balance so that your face doesn't end up looking like a shiny disco ball! Watch the slideshow for a series of grey shades to consider adding to your cosmetics collection!

Pump Up Your Beauty Regime With Plum Makeup Shades

Plum, aubergine, eggplant... what is it about the dusky purple shade that conjures up thoughts of fall? Well, whatever the reason, it's time to embrace it -- beauty trends for the upcoming autumn months are all about going plummy with your eyes, lips, and cheeks for a sultry yet sophisticated seasonal look. But before you raise an eyebrow at the thought of your grandmother's purple eyeshadow, you should know that these products are anything but retro-tacky! Update a smoky eye with a color-coordinated Stila eyeshadow quad in Montemarte, finished off with Urban Decay's Ink For Eyes in Empire. The contrasting color works wonders in bringing out the gold flecks in your eyes. And if you're all about the flushed cheeks, take your rosy glow up a notch on the color spectrum with Clinique blush in Plum Gorgeous. Scroll through the slideshow for my favorite plum products!

It's always hard to dump someone. There are hurt feelings and harsh words, maybe a few tears, definitely some cocktails and desserts smothered in chocolate, caramel, and Oreo cookie crumbles. Well, get out the Edy's, Sephora. Everyone knows that Sephora and I (and Sephora.com) have been going steady since I was 15, but we're currently on the rocks. There's a new makeup store in my life, and its name is BeautyTicket.com. Yup, although Sephora was the love of my life, I just can't control my feelings for this much better beauty stop that recently rocked my world. But it wasn't just a one night fling; this is serious. I'm falling in love. This amazing website carries super great brands like YSL, Smashbox, Stila, Tarte, Urban Decay, and Pop, for up to 85% off. Wow. I'll give you a minute to think about how freakin' amazing that is. I'm talkin' Smashbox wooden 4-shadow/blush palette, originally $45, now $19.00. NYFW Backstage Beauty: Julie Haus

From skincare to nails, backstage for the Spring 2010 Julie Haus collection (which was sponsored by Beauty.com) was all about grunge, rocker chic. In one corner, hairstylist Oscar Blandi was creating a tousled, slept-in look while celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann was applying a smudged finish to the gunmetal shimmer. On the other side, Stila makeup artist Sarah Lucero was focusing on creating a messy yet pretty eye, and Bethany Wojtech for Arcona was going over how the all natural skin care line is perfect for the models' skin during fashion week as they go from show to show (something that I had always wondered!).

From the skin to the hair to the makeup to the nails, we spoke to all the experts. Click here to find out exactly how to replicate the looks!
