    Influential International Style: Alexa Chung

Sometimes, when you see a girl with seemingly effortless style that you know you would look ridiculous in, even if you were wearing literally the exact same clothes, it can make you jealous. Okay, maybe that's just me. But in the case of British model/television host Alexa Chung, it just makes you want to be her slightly less cool friend. Having modeled for the likes of Urban Outfitters, Antipodium and Vivienne Westwood, it figures that her style boasts eclectic choices as well as informed classics. Think mixing white t-shirts with fancy shorts and a simple tote bag, pairing it with messy hair and actually not looking insane. She takes experimental choices on red carpets, always, always dresses for her own body, and always looks comfortable in her own skin. Check out my slideshow for ways you can mimic the lovely Alexa Chung's style and maybe someone will want to be your slightly less cool friend!

If there's one thing I hate about flying (other than the food), it has to be planning what to wear on the plane. With cramped legroom and freezing temperatures, it's easy to fall back on sweats or pajamas, but you never know who you'll meet sitting next to you or in the waiting lounge. So next time you jet off to an exciting destination, be paparazzi-ready by reading People StyleWatch and see how your favorite celebrities dress for their flights. Check out Beyonce's style with heeled sandals and a 3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt or Victoria Beckham's look with her signature oversized shades and roomy Hermes Birkin bag as inspiration. Reading the latest celebrity gossip magazines always leave me pining for a bigger bank account so I can have that "must have" designer handbag or gown my favorite stars are wearing. And while celebrities may say they are just regular people too, sometimes it's hard to believe when they are holding a diaper bag worth more than my car! To soothe my mind off of my finances, I read People Style Watch where they have a gallery of celeb photos wearing much more wallet friendly items. Their affordable finds are under $100 from Miley Cyrus' $25 H&M dress to Eva Longoria Parker's $40 Old Navy safari jacket, I feel much better about attaining that celebrity look without the exorbitant price. So go take a look at People Style Watch Under $100: Star Fashions now!

We've all had the experience (or at least dread) of showing up to an event wearing the same outfit as someone else. For me it happened at the SF Ballet opening, the girl seated directly in front of me was wearing the same DVF dress that I had sought out specifically for the event! Lucky for me People Stylewatch wasn't there to document my mortification. However, lucky for you, People has a series of polls up asking you to judge just which star wore it best. Lucky for these stars, they don't seem to be at the same events, but let's be real, Hollywood is one big event! Who wore the Elizabeth and James blazer better?-- Rihanna or Karina Smirnoff? Click on over to make your vote on this poll and many more!
