This month, a little floral accent is just the thing to spruce up your wardrobe during this economic downpour of gloom and doom. Whether you're wearing a casual day dress or a more dramatic evening gown, make sure to keep the accessories to a minimum when sporting a floral print. Marc Jacobs, Badgley Mischka, DVF, and Missoni are just a few designers who redefined flower power and incorporated beautiful floral prints into their spring '09 ready-to-wear collections. The questions is: are you ready to rock these ultra feminine prints and sexy summer hues? Before you decide, check out a few of our favorite floral frocks and you be the judge on whether this trend is here to stay!

One of my favorite fashion designers is Portland-based Liza Rietz, who now has her Spring/Summer collection up for sale in her online shop! The collection is just so beautiful I can't even being to describe it all, so be sure to check it out for yourself on Etsy and take a good look at all the stunning photos! I'm just so in love with the modern silhouettes she creates. Pick up one of her fabulous pieces to stand out from the crowd at parties this summer. Some of my favorites from her most recent collection are the Silver Romper ($260), the Asymmetrical Tiered Dress ($315), and the Waffle Tucked Tunic ($375). Spring has truly arrived in London and as usual the sandals, summer dresses and tans are coming out. Topshop's new arrivals have got me in a craze for florals, my current picks? The Kate Moss collection's floral prints, perfect for a weekend jaunt in Brighton or a shopping spree in West End. It's official florals are in again. We love this vintage rose one via TopShop. Still cold out where you live, but had to have that strappy chiffon number? Layer it up with boots and a cardigan while skies are grey, and when the sunshine returns, you know what to do. An essential piece to your spring and summer wardrobe is the white t-shirt. But not just any ol' one. White tees are cropping up with all sorts of beautiful embellishments from ruffles to ruched details. I love the fitted stylish look of this J.Crew slub cotton crossover v-neck tee ($38). Paired perfectly with jeans or a flowery spring skirt and you have an instant fresh wardrobe! For other alternatives, try an asymmetrical style with the one shoulder tee from TopShop ($32) or the comfy yet pretty rustled breeze top from Anthropologie ($68). The Top 5 Trendy Jumpsuits For Your Spring Wardrobe!

    image

Unless you have been living under a rock the past few months, you probably have noticed that jumpsuits are the key piece for your spring/summer wardrobe. Once relegated to construction workers, Studio 54 mavens and small children, the jumpsuit has broken out once again. While this trend has been brewing for a while, it's finally hit fever pitch. I was an early adopter of the trend, rocking vintage jumpsuits and a great little linen romper from Uniqlo last summer; I am so incredibly happy that one-piece ensembles, long and short, are everywhere now! My search for these one-piece wonders used to be confined to vintage stores and a few specialty stores, and it's like my options have quadrupled. There€™s nothing easier than one piece dressing! Throw on a casual short romper with some flats and a cardigan for day. By night, your options are limitless! Menswear-inspired tuxedo jumpsuits are subtly sexy with some heels for a night out. Embellished jumpsuits with the right jewelry and attitude can totally replace your cocktail dress. Check out the slideshow for my top 5 jumpsuits to get you set for the season and beyond!

Steal Your Boyfriend's Look With The Must-Have Cardigan For ...

    image

The boyfriend cardigan is a great transition item from cooler to warmer temps. It's the perfect sweater to throw on as an afterthought when you need something to keep you a bit warmer, and it's great as a staple top, too. Okay, so none of my boyfriends have ever worn cardigans (I tried to get one to try the look, actually, and he would have none of it!), so it may not be aptly named. But who cares what it's called as long as it looks cute?! The idea is that it's a bit over-sized, slouchy, comfy and cozy, and that's all that matters! The opportunities with this piece are endless. It can be thrown over a spring-y dress, or paired with a t-shirt and jeans. It's a great way to add a warmer layer to a shift dress, and it goes well with tights, denim, boots, flats, even heels. Try the look with a more winter-themed outfit, or go for something lighter. There are all different colors and patterns to suit your whim, but even one or two staple colors will work just fine. You'll find yourself wondering how you ever managed without it! Check out more spring style staples from our friends at TheFind!
