Top Ten Best Gifts Under $50 For The Gal That Has Everything!

    image
Stephanie Salardino on дек 16, 2008 6:13 PM PST
So I€™ve scoured the net in search of the best gifts under $50 for the gal that truly has everything. We all know one €“ the girl that doesn€™t need anything, but wants one of everything. Anyway I€™ve compiled a list of the top ten best gifts from cosmetics and fragrance to sleepwear and footwear. There's a Sephora palette that is one of the most extraordinary gifts that has a value of $320, but believe it or not it only costs $48! Bop Basics tees for $49, but they have a special...actually a steal if I do say so myself €“ 3 for $50 during the month of December! So you can buy 2 gifts and keep one for yourself. I even stumbled upon one of the best gift sets EVER €“ Hanky Panky and Benefit cosmetics. This dynamic duo has partnered together this season to create the €œJust In Case€ set, which includes a luxurious lace thong and mini beautifier kit (foundation, lip shine, cheek stain and eye cream). It€™s truly an awesome gift for the gal that is always on the go and never really knows where her night may lead her. For a complete list of the best holiday gift suggestions, check out the slideshow!

The Cutest, Coziest Socks You'll Want To Give And Get This Winter

    image
Anna Yu on дек 12, 2008 2:24 PM PST
The temperatures are dropping and I swear my floor gets colder and colder every morning! Recently, I dug up some of my coziest socks from my dresser only to find that I never sewed up the holes by the heels and toes (that's how old these socks are!). While I further put off getting out my mending kit, I've been on the search for more cute socks that will keep me warm. They're too cute to be covered up by shoes, so wear them around the house! But if you must go outside, many of the knee high socks are a perfect companion to your riding boots! I love these nautical themed socks by Juicy Couture or these ultra luxe cashmere socks that are on sale! Take a look at my slideshow for more socks that will get you through the winter chills!

Pamper Those Poor Feet! Our Favorite Foot Care Superstars..

    image
Greta on ноя 29, 2008 10:18 AM PST
I spent last weekend having fun with my girlfriends in Las Vegas, and while the trip was a huge success, my feet are another story. In fact, the only adjective that comes to mind when I think of the current state of my feet is "mangled." Two very long nights of 5+ inch BCBGirls platform t-straps (so worth the pain!) will do that to you. But limping around in my ballet flats is getting old fast, and now I'm in the market for some serious feet fixer-uppers. Luckily it appears that there is an impressive number of stiletto-lovers in the Hive, because I've been able to find a ton of creams, buffers, wraps, and scrubs all made with the tortured foot in mind. Like this adorable Burt's Bees Pedicure Kit which looks tiny, but is actually packed with pedicure necessities like a pumice stone, coconut foot creme, and an adorable pair of socks to keep your toes cozy and soft. For a thick and creamy foot treatment, look no further than this handcrafted Eucalyptus Oil Shea Butter Foot Cream. It's blended with organic unrefined shea butter and is infused with anti-fungal tee tree oil to make sure feet stay fresh. Your feet deserve a treat! Search the Hive for more foot care superstars, and be sure to check out my SLIDESHOW to see my favorite items!

Going Ice Skating? Check Out Our Outfit Ideas!

    image
Kristin on ноя 21, 2008 4:17 PM PST
What better way to enjoy the cold and make a fool of yourself than to grab your silliest friends and go ice skating?! And just so you don't have to think about anything else besides having fun, here are some wardrobe must-haves for your next winter jaunt to the rink (or pond). First of all, don't wear jeans. If you fall, they'll just get heavy, wet, and uncomfortable. Instead, throw on this pair of slim black pants with stretch by J.Crew. On top, layers are key. Grab something like this lightweight turtleneck by James Perse, and bring a hoodie, a fleece, or a jacket like this parka from Adidas by Stella McCartney. Since most ice skates have little padding, don't forget some heavy socks - check out these "fleece welly" socks by the maker of the original rain boots, Hunter. Gloves are also not a bad idea if you plan on falling a lot - i.e. making the most of your experience! Try on these candy-colored J.Crew colorblock gloves in a wool/cashmere blend. Now I can't wait to get out there! Don't miss the SLIDESHOW of these great ice skating fashion finds!
