Going Ice Skating? Check Out Our Outfit Ideas!

What better way to enjoy the cold and make a fool of yourself than to grab your silliest friends and go ice skating?! And just so you don't have to think about anything else besides having fun, here are some wardrobe must-haves for your next winter jaunt to the rink (or pond). First of all, don't wear jeans. If you fall, they'll just get heavy, wet, and uncomfortable. Instead, throw on this pair of slim black pants with stretch by J.Crew. On top, layers are key. Grab something like this lightweight turtleneck by James Perse, and bring a hoodie, a fleece, or a jacket like this parka from Adidas by Stella McCartney. Since most ice skates have little padding, don't forget some heavy socks - check out these "fleece welly" socks by the maker of the original rain boots, Hunter. Gloves are also not a bad idea if you plan on falling a lot - i.e. making the most of your experience! Try on these candy-colored J.Crew colorblock gloves in a wool/cashmere blend. Now I can't wait to get out there! Don't miss the SLIDESHOW of these great ice skating fashion finds!

Safari-chic and ethnic touches are everywhere this summer as designers took inspiration from the desert heat for there Spring/Summer 08 shows. Etro, Matthew Williamson and Oscar de La Renta were among the designers who brought us bold Ikat prints, colorful patterns and layered on jewelry. With skyrocketing airline fares, it may be hard to get to that African safari, but don't worry - you don't need a plane to look like you've been somewhere exotic - just the right accessories. So go ahead, check out my SLIDESHOW, layer on those bangles and beads, and grab your colorful clutch. Plus I've included something at every price point!

It's obvious that your feet (and you) deserve to be pampered, so short of a massage (that's next on our list) why not reward yourself with a pair of the fuzziest and softest slippers imaginable? We decided to go the untraditional route and picked a variety of fun, cute options, like smiling monkeys and bears (which brings us right back to childhood), leopard prints for the fashionistas, and a ton of other whimsical designs that'll make your toes very, very happy.

And we couldn't forget the wee ones, so look carefully for a special pair just for baby.

Check out the slideshow for 10 of the cutest slippers that will keep your feet toasty and warm, but are bound to make you smile in the process.
