As you're checking off your back-to-school to-do list, make sure you factor in the college student's favorite pastime: sleeping. Whether you live in a res hall or are off-campus with roommates, it's important to have some cute and comfy PJs to toss on. Why?

1. Lots of people are going to be seeing these things (and I'm not talking about the people you bring home), so it's time to toss out the ratty high school t-shirts and invest in something cute.
2. Lots of people are going to see you, so if you tend to sleep in the buff I'm pretty sure your roomie would much prefer to see you in some jammies than see your naked butt. Spend Your Downtime In Loungewear With An Asian Flair

When I was quite young, my older brother was a huge fan of "The Karate Kid." With only one TV in the house designated for "kid use" and being the younger sibling of the pair, I ended up spending much of my formative years watching parts 1 and 2 of this classic 1980's saga. At some point, I fell in love with the lovely traditional garments the women wore throughout the movie sequel. I thought the styles were so elegant and pretty that this red-headed Irish girl was even a geisha for Halloween one year. So, I'm pretty jazzed that some of these prints have made their way into modern sleepwear and loungewear. I'll be the first to admit that unless you're a furry four-legged domestic animal, there's really nothing cute about waking up. From the bedhead hair to the questionable morning breath (and let's not forget that groggy first glance in the mirror - thankfully I need contacts), it's not exactly endearing.
