Hot In The Hive: Denise Julia Reytan TimePeaces

Lists, schedules, appointments, deadlines, meetings, alarms... it's enough to make a girl go crazy! In this non-stop modern day world, even those who used to remind others to stop and smell the roses don't have time anymore! But, it is important to think of ourselves and stop for a moment and breathe. That extra 10 minutes in the morning for coffee, or walking through a local park during lunch hour, or even just shutting the door and getting lost in our own non-work related thoughts for a few moments everyday is the difference between stress and serenity. Jewelry designer Denise Julia Reytan decided that she would be one of those to remind us to not be such a slave to the clock, but to also do it in luxurious style! Her T1mepeace collection is available for June and comes in a variety of eye-catching and edgy metallics. They are gold or silver plated bracelets that resemble the appearance of a watch, but there's no actual time read-out. These T1mepeaces are aptly named and are here to remind us that sometimes, it's ok to just live in the moment and enjoy yourself right where you are. Make your peace with time and even though it stops for no man, you're free to take a moment for yourself. These "watch" bracelets are a beautiful statement piece, perfect for summer, and would look great with your colder weather wardrobe as well!

    Skinny Stackable Bracelets For Summer!

I recently went for a browse at the Swarovski store and found that they had a great selection of bracelets that made me feel like I was visiting Japan. They were sooo adorably cute, it was hard for me to pick just one. I ended up deciding on the gold crystal-encrusted Green Bracelet ($125) because I just loved the little trees sparking in pink and purple and the reversible pink shiny epoxy on the other side. What's great about it too is that it's thin and dainty enough to wear with other bracelets and jewelry without having that piled on look. I love the idea of wearing a few different kinds of skinny bracelets all together to make up your own look! For other ideas, I also love the Euphoria Golden Shadow Bracelet, also from Swarovski, and the Lotus Bracelet from Nordstrom for a similar delicate look sans the bling. Check out the Coquette blog for more adorably chic trends for summer!

Cuff 'Em: Vintage Fashionistas Bracelet Themselves For Summer

Over 7,000 years ago, our ancient ancestors in Egypt and Africa began making bracelets out of wood, stone, plants, and yes, even bone. Today, bracelets are the second most-popular jewelry item, right behind earrings. Whether you like 'em dainty or gargantuan, fancy or organic, signed or homemade, classic or mod--there is definitely a vintage bracelet out there in your price range. And don't be a label snob when you're shopping, since many designers never signed their jewelry. Bracelets are also an excellent way to exercise your style muscle. If you're the classic, conservative type, break out of your mold with a mod geometric piece. If you live on the fashion edge, try something more dainty and feminine just for kicks. Here's a collection of different vintage styles to inspire you. Just click the slideshow to see them.

Hot In The Hive: The Tiffany & Co. Jean Schlumberger Enamel ...

Have you ever munched on a danish in front of 727 Fifth Avenue in New York City a la Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's or peeked in the store windows looking for that perfect piece of jewelry? There's a lot of wishing and hoping to be had, but there's nothing quite like the feeling of unwrapping a robin's egg blue box from Tiffany & Co. From their classic sterling silver pieces to stunning diamond engagement rings, Tiffany's has always set the standards for fine jewelry. This red enamel bracelet designed by Jean Schlumberger, (whose client base included Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy, and of course, Audrey Hepburn) is perfect whether you're 20 or 80! I know the price is a little steep- since nearly $30,000 can get you a pretty nice car or a year's worth of rent in New York City- so take a look at another Tiffany classic. A Frank Gehry heart pendant in sterling silver and 18k gold is literally a fraction of the price of the bracelet. So get started on dropping those Valentine's Day gift hints to your beau! Or get it for yourself, because you totally deserve it.

    Price: $27,000

Jewelry We'd Be Happy To Receive On Valentine's Day, Or ...

I have a few pieces of heart shaped jewelry in my wardrobe and while I wear them all year 'round, I can think of no better time to wear them than Valentine's Day! Heart shaped jewelry is almost always gives a dash of sweetness to any outfit (like pairing heart shaped charm necklace with a tough leather jacket). So wearing them on Valentine's Day is especially charming. I've found heart shaped earrings, rings, necklaces and more that can suit every style and budget. Take a peek at this heart pendant necklace with a unique circle cutout. A classic pair of Tiffany & Co. heart shaped earrings is easy to pair with a sexy dress or jeans and t-shirt. Spread the love and click the slideshow to see more heart shaped jewelry!
