Say "so long" to the shimmering bronze and sandy shades associated with summer beauty. Fall makeup is all about the rich matte shades, reminiscent of a nice warm mug of hot chocolate or your morning mocha. Though neutral matte colors may seem slightly "blah" in comparison to your shimmer dust and glitter eyeliner, these velvety pigments do wonders in warming up your face and skintone when worn alone, and can even be punched up when paired with a touch of gold gloss or highlighter. Go for a softer version of the smokey eye with a dark chocolate shadow, or sweep a rosy mocha sheen on your cheeks for a fall-festive flush. Be careful though, these shades won't only have you tearing up the makeup department -- they'll probably make you want to take a detour to the nearest candy aisle, too.
