This is a lot of 4 vintage thread spools from the 1940s or early 1950s. They are all Coats & Clarks and J&P Coats brand.
The thread is mercerized (an old process of making the cotton pearlescent) and is still wound on its original wooden spools. The advertisement stickers are still in place on the top and bottom of each spool, with some puncturing and some age (but still attractive and readable).
Thread has probably been used from each spool, but the spools are still very full (the dark green spool is missing the most).
The colors are: #128 (Red/Crimson) 40 yards, Mercerized
#167 Sage Green, Boilfast
#16 Ivory Boilfast
#58 Pearl Green, Boilfast, 70 yards
Most have the original price (15 cents) visible on the label and the #50 (might be thread size?).
Set of 4 spools. Spools are 1 1/4" tall.
