Now that holiday season is long gone, some would think sequin-filled evenings are a thing of the past. But we here at StyleList are firm believers in donning shimmery pieces all year long!
So follow the lead of designers, like Prada and Alice + Olivia, with tanks, blouses and jackets completely soaked with sequins. Either way you wear 'em, sequins are a trend that's bound to stick around for a long time - incorporating them into everyday staples like cardigans and camis is a must!

Jennifer, Vanessa, Nicky, Or Dakota: Who Shined Brightest In Her Spring Sequins?

It's no news that sequins have hit their height in the past style season, fully bedazzling everything from cardigans and blazers to shorts and leggings. But while cool-toned metallics and the whole "just-swam-in-a-pool-of-glitter" look are more reminiscent of last fall and winter, I can't help but notice that some of our favorite red carpet fashionistas have been very recently spotted still rockin' last season's bling instead of springing forward to something more season-friendly and of-the-moment. Don't get me wrong -- I'm the biggest fan of anything sparkly and shiny (all day, every day), so I'll be the first to celebrate with head-to-toe sequins if the truth is they really are here to stay through the sunnier months ahead! Jennifer Love Hewitt and Vanessa Hudgens both glowed in gold-tinged sparkle, while Nicky Hilton put a more glamorous spin on a shirtdress with her silver version. And Dakota Fanning's babydoll silhouette may have been predictable, but the sequins definitely gave her dress a more grown-up edge!
