The V02 is the analogue extension of the V01 using the exact same geometry with a delicately proportioned half glass, half stainless steel front, but with a classic speedometer looking dial. The design draws heavily on the Scandinavian design tradition using simple geometries and materials often found in architecture. The main objective has been to create a unique product using as simple geometries as possible and bring them to life by using honest, traditional materials. The movement is made in Japan. ”Natskallen” is hand thrown thinly of English stoneware clay. The decoration consists of three to four layers of slipping (clay dye). The slipping is layered using a wide brush. In this way the artist achieves depth in the decoration. The dry expression of the outside contrasts with the dark iron glazing on the inside of the form. The bowl is fired at 1280 degrees centigrade. The glazing is non-toxic and impervious to water. Every single bowl is hand thrown with the utmost care and has its own individual expression. Not one is like any other. Both colour and form vary so you will always be able to choose your own special bowl. The bowl that fits both your personality and the surroundings in which it is placed.

From the flop musical "Lost Horizon" w/ Liv Ullman [& I cant remember who else]. After it flopped, we had to sing this in public school choir class. Were the world & it's circle half as lovely as this bit of sold modern goods, being forced to use one's scarcely developed diaphragm might have been less than half bad.
