    Which Celeb Guest Was Most Fashionably Fired Up For JC ...

    We're all about a hot recession-friendly designer collabo, and in tough times like these, we're definitely not the only ones! In honor of Charlotte Ronson's new line for JC Penney, "I Heart Ronson," celebs and socialites alike gathered at NYC's Lighthouse for barbeque fare, beach volleyball, and killer dance tracks, thanks to the designer's famous DJ siblings, Mark and Samantha. The collection's fall line is said to include lots of fun florals and floaty blouses with on emphasis on flirty low-maintenance style. And while the designer and her wardrobe were naturally the focus of the evening, plenty of stylish stars were present to help share the spotlight. Mischa Barton and Alexa Chung were among some of the launch celebration's fashionable attendees, decked out in their favorite Ronson duds.     Channel Tomboy Agyness Deyn With Menswear Gone Girlie

    Ever get the urge to raid your boyfriend's closet? Well you're in good company. All around the world girls are doing what many bold women have been doing forever -- taking classic men's pieces and making them their own. Inspired by the likes of women such as Marlene Dietrich and Katherine Hepburn (who was rarely seen without her slacks), today's tomboy icons like Agyness Deyn, Samantha Ronson and model Freja Beha Erichsen are keeping the menswear trend alive among the traditionally "fairer" sex. Even Coco Chanel was a rule-breaking tomboy! What do you need to get the tomboy look? A great pair of black trousers a good way to start -- look for some that have pleats or for ones that are a little roomy but still narrow in the leg like the "Burnisi" Pant by Theory. Top off those pants with a great plain white T-shirt or an updated button-down like ones from Alexander Wang. If you get a little chilly, add an oversized boyfriend blazer that is everywhere this season. Take cue from tomboy Agyness Deyn, who is often spotted wearing a fedora or a bowler hat and suspenders to add some whimsy to your look. Aside from being reliable sources of tabloid fodder, they've been seen out and about wearing one of fall's enduring trends- vests! Elle Creative Director Joe Zee states that the "vest is fall's statement jacket" and he's totally right! Whether it's a menswear inspired suit vest or shaggy faux fur, a vest is great for layering in fall weather. The best part is that you can wear vests well into winter with your favorite coats!     There's an old saying that the longer you're together, the more you start to resemble your significant other. Case in point: Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson. Lindsay's been pictured in more vintage rock tees than ever, and Sam's been hiding in those wayfarers. The waif-like duo have been spotted all over the country this summer, prompting the question of €œAre they or aren€™t they?€� Irrelevant, just grab your best girlfriend and rock this look for Halloween!     New York Fashion Week Buzz: Lindsay and Samantha Grab ...

    This morning I was running late for a very, very important date - the Charlotte Ronson Spring 2009 show! With no cab in sight and an acute understanding of how unreliable the subways are on weekends, I made a mad dash for the tents on foot (a 20 block journey!). As my makeup melted off and the humidity ravaged my hair I had only one thought playing over and over - Sam and Lindsay, Sam and Lindsay, Sam and Lindsay. Fortunately, this journey was not in vain and yes, the dynamic duo was in attendance - one row in front of me to be exact! I didn't see any hand holding or kissing but anyone with a working pair of eyes could see the love and affection between those two. So what's LiLo like in person?? Strikingly beautiful, much shorter than she seems, and unbelievably skinny!! Other highlights: watching Lindz crack up when the exact dress she was wearing made its way down the runway, Sam and Linds giving an enthusiastic standing ovation when Charlotte took a bow and then looking over at each other lovingly right before being whisked away to avoid the swarm of photogs. LiLo and Sam 4 eva!!!!
