Fabulous vintage 1970’s wine cotton calico button-front dress has tiny allover blue, yellow & green floral sprigs.
Features velveteen front yoke, floral white lace Peter Pan collar, lace trim, princess seaming on bodice front, puff sleeves that gather into button bands, flare skirt that is gathered into the waistline and back tie sash.
Much, much prettier than my photos. The bodice front is meant to enhance the bustline in the style of a Gunne. But since my manny doesn’t have much in the way of a bustline it looks poochy rather than feminine.
This will look perfect on you!
100% cotton.
No maker’s tag, marked a size 13/14, modern Medium to Large.
