These are made of rubber and can be used for just about anything because of their durability. They make great pencil holders. The tops can be rolled down for versatility. At first I thought how weird. Then I realized I often broke flower vases, or chipped them, or didn't want to use them for fear of breaking them, this is the perfect fix! They come in gorgeous colors.
