Go Glitterati with a Sparkling Sequined Skirt

    image

Get inspired for fun and frivolity with sparkly sequin skirts. These 'sparklers' are not just for Independence Day! Add a new dimension to your wardrobe with the continuing metallic trend. Sequined skirts look best when paired with a solid colored blouse or tank. Two standout styles we love are this light yellow "Lemoncello" skirt from Robert Rodriguez (bottom right) and Proenza Schouler's swing skirt version in black (top right). Pair your sequined skirt with a pretty solid color sleeveless blouse and statement making chunky woven platforms.

Celebrity Style: Electric Blue Is the Coolest Hue!

Of all the bright colors making the rounds this spring, I'm definitely favoring all things in the hue of electric blue! This color is undoubtedly striking, but not in that overly loud, obnoxious, paranoia-inducing kind of way. Unlike most bright colors, this one complements virtually every skin-tone and looks phenomenal set against all hair colors. Not only that, it looks incredible paired with every color period, from basic black to roaring red to punchy pink to glittery gold and on and on- color-coordinating mishaps are a non-issue when you throw this shade into the mix. So add some spark to your look and check out my SLIDESHOW for hot finds in this electrifying shade.

How to Shop For Dresses For Every Body Type

It doesn€™t matter how many designer dresses you own, or how stocked your closet is, if you don€™t know how to dress for your body, you will just not look your best. Once upon a time I was a "wishful thinking" shopper, that girl in the next dressing room providing a compelling argument to anyone within earshot justifying my purchases. I sang the same tune sung my many, many women before, the one that goes something like: "While these pants might be too tight, they€™ll look great once I lose a couple of pounds" or "I have to have this dress, even though it kind of looks ridiculous on me, because it€™s just soo trendy right now." Or my personal favorite: "This dress doesn€™t look good on me, and I can€™t breathe, but it€™s a size 2, so I mean I have to buy it." Wanna know what happened to all those items?
