Inside all of us is a rock star waiting to get out -- a leather jacket-toting, torn-up jeans-wearing, utterly fabulous rock star. Thanks to Denim of Virtue, the time has never been better to embrace this inner desire. This rock star image was the first thing that came to mind upon viewing the Denim of Virtue collection. An array of distressed jean selections, each one was more stage-worthy than the next. The denim even comes in varying levels of distressing, catering to a wide variety of consumers. There's the subtle collection, boasting boyfriend, skinny and wide-leg jeans with only a hint of wear-and-tear. The second is the moderate collection, where skinny jeans show more tailored signs of distress. And finally, there is the extreme, where 90s punk rears its head in the form of carefully placed holes that decorate skinny jeans. I was innocently poking around the boy's closet one day when I found something that literally caused my jaw to drop- dangling from its hanger in a sea of polo shirts was a vintage MEMBERS ONLY nylon jacket! How I had not seen this before was beyond me, but the more pressing issue was the sudden realization that he is so much cooler than me now. Something had to be done. Kidding! But it's difficult to deny the appeal of a MEMBERS ONLY jacket, which is why we were so excited when we heard that not only is the label back, but it's better than ever with new styles, colors, and even a denim line! Last week we shared with you our interview with designer and creative director Kelli Delaney, and told about how you could enter to win a MEMBERS ONLY nylon jacket (in your choice of color) AND a pair of liquid leggings- that's practically an entire outfit! Of course, we hope you'd wear at least a little more than just that, which is why we asked you to tell us how you'd style the goods if you were to win them. Click READ MORE to see if you won!
