Thin and wispy, bold and blunt, long and side-swept-- bangs are totally back and this must-have hairstyle is such an easy way to update your look. The one drawback with this style is that bangs grow out super fast and in these tough economic times, making regular salon visits isn't exactly wallet-friendly. Fortunately, you can maintain this look without breaking the bank. Celebrity stylist and Nexxus Creative Director Kevin Mancuso says, "I think it is always best to leave the cutting up to the professionals. However, if a women is dead-set on cutting her own bangs, there are definitely a few simple steps she can take to create and maintain brilliant fringe." To keep your bangs looking salon-perfect longer without frequent appointments, Kevin has shared some amazing easy-to-follow, low-maintenance styling tips.

    Tips to Create the Look:
-Wet hair tends to shrink as it dries, so you should only trim your bangs when hair is completely dry.
    - Use the fine-toothed end of a styling comb to separate the front section of hair that you want to trim and pull it to a point in the center of your face. Use a jaw clip to hold excess hair aside.
    - Twist the gathered hair several times (3-4 times). The twisting will offer more forgiving results and help to hide imperfections.
    - Holding scissors at an angle, "point trim" tips until you have reached the desired length. To prevent over trimming, only cut a small amount of length off at a time.

Vintage Fashionistas Are Walking On Sunshine!

By now you must know that yellow is THE color of the season. Fashion runways all over New York and Europe showed clothing and accessories in every shade from dandelion to canary, sunflower to goldenrod. And while Reese Witherspoon and Cate Blanchett have rocked stunning yellow dresses on the red carpet, most women I know still believe that yellow doesn't look good on them. Au contraire! Anyone can wear any color; it's just about picking the right shade to flatter your hair and skin tone. So while your brunette best friend might look great in a Crayola shade, if you're a fair-skinned blonde, you'll want to go a bit brighter. And if you're still feeling afraid to wear little ol' yellow, spice up your look with some sunshine-colored accessories or a print that has yellow as only one of its dominant hues. The slide show has loads of vintage finds to get you buttered up. Just click to see the selection!

Shop For Cute Basics By Celeb Favorite Rebel Yell At ...

Tired of trying to look effortlessly cute all the time? Well I am. One of my favorite brands, Rebel Yell, has come to the rescue, making my wardrobe playful, comfortable and all things vintage. Getting ready for the much-anticipated spring season, the Rebel Yell collection, which is now at Karmaloop.com, remedies all of my fashion problems. The collection offers the basics: T-shirts, button-downs, raglans, hoodies and other clothes that are meticulously structured for optimal comfort and style. Conceived in February 2005 by Daniel and Andi Ballard, the label is heavily inspired by nostalgic childhood memories growing up in Virginia. Andi, the brand€™s designer, explains, €œit€™s a name inspired by the rowdy all-American lifestyle we grew up in. I want Rebel Yell to be super-fresh and easy to wear. The kind of clothing that doesn€™t overpower you, but still makes you look damn good. I obsess about the fit and design details, and refuse to put out a product that Daniel and I wouldn€™t want to wear." The brand reflects the styles that the creators grew up with: relaxed, fresh and classic. Rebel Yell€™s future is looking very promising, as it continues to attract both men and women everywhere, as well as celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, and many others. Keep your style at ease with my top three picks: the three quarter sleeve colorblock tuni hoody, the yes, no tee and the skinny pant.
