Just in time for fall, the new TransFOURmer coat from the Rachel Rachel Roy collection is not only super chic, but smart and thrifty too! As seen in Real Simple magazine, the Transfourmer coat is one coat that can be unzipped and worn in 4 different ways. Remove the bottom for a chic motorcycle jacket look or take off the sleeves and bottom for a twist on a vest. The inside is lined with Rachel's signature graffiti print, for an unexpected pop of color. View the video that demos all of the different looks the coat transforms into, then check out Couture in the City for more thrifty fashion treasures!

This past Wednesday night, New York's Museum of Modern Art was abuzz with some of the world's most chic elite as they mingled at the NYC premiere of The September Issue. The film, which hits theaters on Friday, documents the inner workings of Anna Wintour and her Vogue team as they slave over the release of the hugely-anticipated annual Fall issue of the fashion bible. To celebrate the movie's release, style icons of Hollywood and the design industry alike graced the red carpet, and although it's normally their clothing that fights for the attention of the cameras, the designers themselves embraced the limelight in person to honor the occasion. Among some of the fashion favorites in attendance were Carolina Herrera (hand-in-hand with Oscar de la Renta), the always-polished Vera Wang, and Zac Posen, who didn't hesitate to throw a few "top model" poses in the paparazzi direction. Vote below on which designer you think most stylishly held up the fort for the fashion industry! Photo Credit: PR Photos

New York Fashion Week Runway: Barbie Gets Dolled Up For Her ...

She may be officially over the hill, but she can still work a runway! For Valentine's Day, Barbie collectors young and old crowded the Bryant Park tents to catch a glimpse of the pink-curtained catwalk and pay tribute to the plaything-turned-fashion-icon and her enviable wardrobe. As part of Mattel's year-long 50th Anniversary celebration for the world's most adored doll, 50 of the world's most renowned designers, including the likes of Diane von Furstenberg, Catherine Malandrino, Rachel Roy, Alexander Wang, and Calvin Klein, produced an array of imaginative ensembles for the runway's life-size dolls, all inspired by Barbie's iconic style of the past, present, and even future. From the classic black-and-white polka-dot bikini to hot pink crop dresses a la Malibu Barbie, all the pieces were uniquely inventive while staying true to the mini blond bombshell. And of course, the outfits weren't complete without Barbie's cat-eye sunglasses and a shiny pair of pink Christian Louboutin peep-toes that served as a wearable homage to the real doll's plastic ones that you could never actually get to stay on her unnaturally pointed feet. And you thought her clothes couldn't get any more covetable!

Colors: baby pink (of course!), magenta, fuchsia, kelly green, silver, black
Silhouettes: bubble skirts, strapless baby-doll dresses, sleek mini-dresses, cropped jackets
Celebs: Heidi Klum, Jonathan Adler, Diane von Furstenberg, Peter Som, Kellie Pickler
