My kitchen philosophy is "Measuring cups are for wimps." When cooking, I like to add a dash of this and a pinch of that, and this habit seems to translate into other aspects of life, like my fashion sense. Take for example, this adorable dress. I was instantly drawn to its unique mélange of prints. The inky black top is simple and classic with a sweet scoop neck and slightly puffed cap sleeves. The waistband is elasticized, so I know it'll have a figure-flattering silhouette - always a plus in my book. And then, we get to the good stuff - the harmoniously hodgepodge skirt! It's a funky combination of blue, green, red, brown, and grey striped squares over a complementary-colored, floral background. It's a strange and haphazard combination that somehow just makes sense together! I'll be sporting this fab frock with a long cardigan, wide belt, cute booties, and a chunky ring.
