Then one glances at, or is directed to, the little birdies adhering precariously to the heels & one is transfixed by these postpostmodern platforms in their own right[s].

  Okay--out of all of these, this one's my favorite. It even has soothing music. & the rooms are as perfect as once were the only ones available, the Madonna Inn's [in San Luis Obispo, w/ their clamshell urinals] only transported to postpostland in Scandinavia. Someone MUST want silly intelligent chitchat enough to drag me there as accomplice, so I can spend some time far FAR away from the drummer. S'il vous plait, k?

  As per: Unique Boutique Hotel of Toronto ON, of the CA that is not California. I've gotten all of these marvy vacation destination sites, btw, from something called budgettravel.com. Uncertain I am how many of them actually embody anything monetarily budgetworthy, I do know that a percentage of them do. & all of the ones I've seen are worth spending beaucoup buckets of budget bucks. Here's one w/ lotsa snaps. Snappy, too. Dig them trees, dig all that mordant purple violet.

  I really do like Sottsass, especially his Valentne Olivetti, & Memphis was just about the only 80s design thing worth it's weight in--if not gold--than salt pillars. This one's cool too, tho I'd rather have some molded ABS plastic. Otoh, for anyone who can afford it, Sottsass holds his value & this for cause.

  Tho lacking a Sottsass sorta vibe. Custom, so hard for me to place. A little bit post-period postprandial preference for me, but very nice--& interesting. Came from Pacific Heights, so you know it's quality. Came from Sultana, so you know it's wack--but in a very very good way.

The lamps clap-on symbolizing the striking of a match and produce a glow that flickers gently - they also blow out.
