Whether you're a true studied photographer or simply rely on your iPhone and TwitPic to document your daily adventures, nowadays everyone's got the photo bug in some form or another. But have you noticed that despite the ever-increasing accessibility, portability and quality of cameras with all the latest tech developments, all the newly released digi gadgets have just started to look and function basically the same? Quick and convenient, sure, but borrring! Bring the creativity back to picture-taking and add some variety to those thousands of extended arm self-portraits you have tagged on Facebook with a novelty camera. Print photos instantly on the go with the Fuji Instax Camera (no need to scrounge around for your USB cord!), or create pop art portraits with the Pop Cam from Fred Flare. These novelty cameras aren't exactly a practical replacement for your usual point-and-shoot, but they're a fun addition to anyone who loves living behind the lens! Take a look at the slideshow for the 6 quirkiest cameras on the e-shelves today!

    Tech Savvy Gifts For Grads!

When it comes to high school and college grads, tech-savvy gifts are some of the best around. There's so much on the market though, so it's important to figure out what they already have and what would make a good addition to their lives. For instance, college grad moving to a new city? How about the Garmin eTrex Legend GPS to help them find their way around their new home? High school grad was a cross country superstar? I think an iPod shuffle would be a perfect gift to accompany them on their runs in college. If your niece graduated with a degree in environmental science, how about the solar battery charger to help her charge her phone while out on a clean-up site? Check out my slideshow for lots of other tech savvy gifts for grads!

Hot In The Hive: Buckle Up Your Camera With Photojojo's Seat ...

The number one safety rule when it comes to driving is buckling up, so why not do the same with your valuables? Expensive cameras fall hard (I've learned that the hard way), and to prevent such clumsy disasters, the Photojojo Seat Belt Camera Straps provide a cute and clever way to tote around your hefty piece of equipment in such a way that will secure your camera to your side just like the car seat does to its passengers! The straps are also eco-friendly, made from real recycled seat belts, and with cute color varieties like "T-Bird Teal," "Mercedes Gold," and "Porsche Purple," you'll be snapping pictures in style while keeping that dream of owning a shiny sports car close at hand. While they're supposedly compatible with any size camera, the thick and sturdy straps may look a little silly on my dinky Canon... but they're just so cute and colorful that it's hard to resist the urge to buy a retro Polaroid camera just to have an excuse to order one in every color!

Price: $20 each, or two for $35.
Who Found It: xgalexy was the first to add the Photojojo Seat Belt Camera Straps to the Hive.

Clueless as to what to get your geeky step brother or your tech-savvy boyfriend? This is probably the best year ever to get them some of the coolest gadgets out there! Get in line now for Amazon's Kindle, a revolutionary wireless reading device that lets you download books directly to the reading device. Get him something cooler to attach to his belt than his iPhone, like a flip video recorder the size of a digital camera to record all those holiday memories. Or get him Polaroid's new portable photo printer that plugs directly into your camera and lets your print pics on the spot (proof to show Aunt May that her holiday sweater does make her look like an Ompa Lompa!) These gadgets are so cool, you might even want one for yourself too! Check out my slideshow for my top gifts for the geeky guy!

Stylediary Spotlight: Dutch Diarist "Polaroid" Proves Style ...

While browsing through Stylediaries last week (always a good way to get fashion inspiration, btw), I came across user Polaroid. Initially drawn in by her colorful graphic background reminiscent of 80's graffiti, I found that this 16-year-old redhead, who hails from the Netherlands, was the proud owner of some pretty fierce style chops! Cinching almost everything with a belt at the waist makes her look quite ladylike, but her magenta metallic leggings and vibrant sneakers are a definite 180 from that persona. Check out my SLIDESHOW to see out my fave looks from Polaroid's Stylediary.
