Our Favorite Spring Sandals For Under $100!

    image
Lisanne Silverman on Mar 9, 2009 1:19 PM PDT
Spring is almost here, meaning my toes are officially in defrost mode (okay, it's not that cold here in SF, but work with me here) and that can only mean one thing- spring shoe shopping! To help ease the separation anxiety I'll likely be feeling with regard to my beloved boots, I've done a fair bit of fake sandal shopping to help raise excitement for warmer weather, excuses for pedicures, and mornings not characterized by the super awkward process known as pulling on warm Wolford tights. Uh, spring couldn't come any faster. But onto the shoes! Look for nude and cream tones as they'll match with nearly everything, and some pairs will even carry you into the colder months- but who wants to talk about that. On the other hand (er.. foot) don't be afraid of color! Bright shoes lend themselves wonderfully to spring's neutral tones and are a great way to try bursts of color if you're not all that keen on neon yellow in large doses. Click on the slideshow for the 10 pairs of sandals on my wishlist this spring! Oh, and they're all under $100, so buying more than one pair is encouraged.

Celeb Style Steal: Get Naomi Watts' Jaw-Dropping Look

    image

Naomi Watts has been less of a presence on the Hollywood scene since getting married and having a baby, a time-out that definitely agreed with the Australian beauty who stepped out at the launch of the Trump International Hotel and Tower Dubai party looking incredible in a backless Zac Posen tuxedo dress from his fall/winter '08 collection paired with killer Pierre Hardy gladiator pumps. Naomi was never much of a fashion risk-taker, but maybe since she's rarely out and about, when she does hit the red carpet, she makes sure to hit it hard enough to make a splash and get heads turning and jaws dropping. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get this stellar, statement-making look.
