I guess a load of confidence is easy to come by when you have a series of hit singles and Chace Crawford as your former arm-candy! Speaking of exes, in her latest video for "Cowboy Casanova," Carrie hits the saloon looking retro-fabulous to warn girls about a bad boy's particularly womanizing ways... and shows him a thing or two!     When I lived near Hayes Valley in San Francisco, I used to get off the bus a few stops ahead just so I could wander down Hayes Street and browse around at one of my favorite shoe stores, Gimme Shoes. It was a little happy place for me to just be around all these beautiful shoes, even if I hadn't exactly left room in the budget for an additional pair or two. I'm happy to report that they now have everything online so even if you aren't in San Francisco, you can still shop their extensive and stylish collection!     Booties, Shooties, and Ankle Boots Galore!

    As much as I hate to subscribe to huge trends, I've succumbed to this one...my booty wants a pair of booties! You wouldn't think they'd be universally flattering, but now there's such a variety of styles out there that you're bound to find a pair out there that make your gams look good. They're just too irresistibly cute when paired opaque tights or skinny jeans. Whatever you may call them - booties, ankle boots, shooties (shoes x booties), there's so many out there to pick from - from suede to belted, cut out to peep toe, studded to ruched. That's why I need your help to pick a pair out, or, you can just take a look at my slideshow for your own shopping entertainment. Since I'm a shorty, of course they all have heels, that's just the way I roll.
