    Hive 5: Cute Kitchen Goodies That Work!

    A pan is a pan, but why shouldn't it also be a too-cute panda face? Where most people go for function, I know that if I'm going to be looking at something, it should at the very least be cute, really cute. Showing off your charming personality through some unique and unexpected pieces in the home can definitely transform a living space, but for some reason people forget about the kitchen. I don't mean hanging plants or buying a whole new counter top; people forget that kitchenware can be both functional and kitschy. Plasticland makes a pair of oh-so-delightful vintage inspired poodle salt and pepper shakers and Wishing Fish makes a super sweet strawberry tea kettle.     Hive 5: Be a Queen in the Animal Kingdom

    Sure everyone loves animals, and animal print is great, but why not show off more than their skin? Instead, opt for cute animal inspired apparel- we just love their little faces. You loved it so much as a kid and now you can have a much more age appropriate (and better fitting) version! Alright, so I don't mean go out and buy a Björk swan dress lookalike, but a foxy Insight bathing suit, a quiet-as-a-mouse Marc ballet flat, or a panda dress that will hug your curves can surely enhance your outfit and not scare away small children. These cute-as-a-button animal pieces will definitely put a smile on your face, well, unless you're Cruella De Vil, of course.     I'm in desperate need of a beach getaway, and if you've been in the Hive lately, you can't help but notice the plethora of bikinis, monokinis, and swimwear - oh my! We've got everything from crochet to retro, g-string to one-piece sarong sets, patriotic stars and stripes to metallic shiny bling. Rather than diving into my closet to try to fish out my old bikinis from under my San Franciscan appropriate clothes, it's time for an upgrade!
