Go Bold This Fall With Oversized Jewelry

Obviously a lot of us are trimming down the fashion budget in the interest of saving money, and outfits are pared down to the basics. So how do you dress things up without breaking the bank? Accessorize, of course. It's no secret I LOVE all things big and bold, so it's not surprising that I'm especially excited that this season oversized cocktail rings are all the rage. Personally I'm not much on necklaces, but I do love me some cocktail rings, so I've been trying to get a few pieces together to complement some outfits I bought for the fall and winter. I'm a big fan of this pearl-center flower ring by Kenneth Jay Lane, and this sparkly aubergine ring (also by KJL) is great for a little flash! Head over to TheFind for more ways to spice up your fall wardrobe!

Stylehive's Stylescopes Encourage You To Raid Your ...

Okay, so it's pretty apparent that the "boyfriend"-inspired trend doesn't actually look like it came from your man's closet, but you gotta admit that it's a pretty cute concept given the comfy, slightly oversized fits that are still flattering to your feminine physique. And the best part about the misnomer? You don't actually need your own ball-and-chain to cop the looks. So whether you're single or attached, the stars say you're destined to rock the boyfriend look this week, be it a blazer, a pair of shorts, or even a zip-up hoodie that fits slightly better than the one your dude left at your place. Libras can keep it casual or even go pro in a boyfriend jacket and Sagittarius ladies will stay comfy-cool in some denim shorts, for example. Just be careful not to wear too many oversized items at once -- you don't want to look like you raided your dad's closet instead! Check the slideshow to see the week's pick for your sign!

Face the Summer Sun - From the Future

Sunglasses are a necessity in the summer, and this season's trends appear to be heading in opposite directions. On one hand, you've got the oversized vintage look carried over from last year and featuring large, rounded shapes and subtle, smoky colors. They're very pretty, very feminine, and a bit reminiscent of Jackie O. On the other hand, there's a new futurism trend as well, and frankly it appears the sky is the limit where that is concerned. Galactic angular shapes, bold angles, and downright Devo-looking frames. If you're curious to try the new futuristic style of shades out, you may as well head to the edge of the galaxy and go for these Incognito glasses by Martin Margiela. Far out! Stand Out From The Crowd With Oversized Graphic Prints At ...

Ready to upgrade my wardrobe, I am investing in clothing with oversized graphic prints. Bold and loud, large graphic pieces make any outfit stand out. Whether it be t-shirts, tanks or dresses, the graphic design is what makes the apparel unique and fun. My favorite picks from this category are all available at Karmaloop.com. The 'alien tangent' oversized tee in white by Perks And Mini features a large facial front screen print. The 'say it loud' dress in black by Married to the Mob, a soft stretchy crew neck tee dress, is covered with large graphic text. The 'bloodmania raglan' top by Cardboard Robot features a three-quarter sleeve shirt with racy graphic print on front. For a more vintage look, try the 'tiger tiger' crop top tee by Whitehorse Couture or the 'joy' tee in yellow by Joyrich. If you're already in summer mode, check out the 'sundae twist' dress by Insight, a low scoop neck tank dress with bold graphics on front and back. For more styles, check out the slideshow!

Steal Your Boyfriend's Look With The Must-Have Cardigan For ...

The boyfriend cardigan is a great transition item from cooler to warmer temps. It's the perfect sweater to throw on as an afterthought when you need something to keep you a bit warmer, and it's great as a staple top, too. Okay, so none of my boyfriends have ever worn cardigans (I tried to get one to try the look, actually, and he would have none of it!), so it may not be aptly named. But who cares what it's called as long as it looks cute?! The idea is that it's a bit over-sized, slouchy, comfy and cozy, and that's all that matters! The opportunities with this piece are endless. It can be thrown over a spring-y dress, or paired with a t-shirt and jeans. It's a great way to add a warmer layer to a shift dress, and it goes well with tights, denim, boots, flats, even heels. Try the look with a more winter-themed outfit, or go for something lighter. There are all different colors and patterns to suit your whim, but even one or two staple colors will work just fine. You'll find yourself wondering how you ever managed without it! Check out more spring style staples from our friends at TheFind!

Out here in Chicago, it can seem like the winter might last forever. Yokoo has me wishing it does! All of her unique handmade scarf creations are acrylic and wool blend chunky knits. The scarves are all oversized - perfect for wrapping up and keeping cozy. One of my favorites is the giant Oatmeal SoopaScarf - it looks like it could keep you AND a friend warm all winter! I also really love the comical vibe and the bright citron color of the English Thompson scarf. For a completely different look, check out the Soopa Chain scarf, sure to be a conversation starter. All of her items take two to three weeks to make, and are definitely worth the wait. Check her out on etsy.com!
