Hive 5: Shorties Unite Behind Nude Pumps!

How would you like to be taller? Well there's a bit of fashion magic that creates the illusion of added height - nude heels! They work by elongating the leg. A heel in any other tone will create contrast cutting the leg line at the ankle. The nude color actually works to extend the leg. And since the color is neutral and blends in, the heels go with everything. This versatility makes nude heels a wonderful investment. For a funky vibe check out Chloe's thick heeled pump with a collared edge and bonus hidden platform, invest in a pair of Christian Louboutin heels in patent leather, or opt keep your look classic with Kate Spade's renditions in suede and ostrich embossed leather. More styles and details are in the SLIDESHOW - so get clicking!

Vintage Style: Sunshine Finds for Vintage Fashionistas

It's that time of year when the Back to School sales are in full swing. And while I'm won't be stocking up on any yellow No. 2 pencils, I am inspired to sport something in the sunshine shade during the remaining carefree days of summer. Yellow is a surefire attention-getter (which is why there are so many yellow taxicabs on our streets) but that also makes it especially tricky to wear. Try pairing it with neutrals for a chic ensemble or with navy for a nautical look. And if you think you can't wear yellow because it washes you out, don't give up without a fight. With choices that range from banana to canary, you are sure to find a sunshine shade that is just right for you. Still need some inspiration? Then click the SLIDESHOW for a collection of yummy yellow vintage finds.

Bag Of The Week: The Nuti Ostrich Hobo

Exotics are classic. Name one season when you'll get bored of a good python or karung shoulder bag? Never! The king of all skins, ostrich, is the choice for the crème de la crème (translation: uber-wealthy and uber-stylish) of bagistas; and Nuti is one of their go-to designers. For fall, Nuti gives us a lust-worthy top handle bag in sinful green or decadent dark brown. I like the semi-structured crescent shape €“ even though I'm really more of a satchel lover. This delightful, Italian-made shoulder bag is an ideal choice for an organized and low-maintenance gal. You're certainly not fitting folders €“ though a small notebook will work €“ in here and it would be painful to try and shove a laptop in here €“ obviously. With only one inner pocket, I recommend having one or two small clutches inside €“ one for makeup and one for tech gadgets that don't fit into the pocket. Organization aside, the vibrant suede lining is a joyful surprise. I'm sick of so-called "luxury" brands that have $2K, $3K+ price tag bags and don't give you the luxury feel inside. If you're looking for a great pre-pre-pre holiday treat, indulge in this handbag. The detailing on the handle is simply divine with a mix of snake, crocodile and minimal silver hardware. This bag will age graceful and become loose and loved with time. For my sweetheart: if you're reading this, the big milestone birthday is right around the corner! Hint, hint!!

Bag of the Week: Antoinette Lee's Coral Ostrich Dolcita Clutch

If you€™re familiar with The Millionaire Matchmaker (on Bravo) then what I€™m about to say will make much more sense. If I was a millionaire, I would still do what I do for free €“ find young talent and bring it to the masses. Maybe I€™m like the cupid of the bag world? I LOVE connecting hungry customers with fabulous new designers! I get rush when a bagista finds her perfect handbag match. Three years ago I fell in love with Rebecca Minkoff. Then came Tabitha, Socoley, and Jenny Yuen. This year I€™m in lusting over CHia, Vegan Queen (more on these two later!) and my current main squeak, Antoinette Lee Designs.
