Hot Beauty Ingredient: Argan Oil

What's the hottest new beauty ingredient of 2009? Argan oil. Never heard of it before? Well, you will soon since it's being used in all sorts of products from masks, moisturizers, balms, and body butters. Known for its miraculous healing and moisturizing properties, argan oil has proven to reduce the depth of fine lines and wrinkles resulting in an overall improvement in the skin's surface. This hard-to-find oil is from the argan tree located in a remote region south of Morocco, and is notoriously difficult to harvest, making it one of the most expensive oils on earth (take that Creme de la Mer). One of my favorites is Elemis Pro-Collegen Quartz Lift Mask ($81 at timetospa.com), it's like a take home facial that gives you that ten-year-younger face lift look and baby soft skin.
